Banned for one game, fined, and stripped of his captaincy for the rest of the season.

ETA 3:03 pm EST: He won't be banned from the game. He just won't start. ESPN changed its tune after I posted the link. Same link works, but different wording.

Not sure whether he plays regularly, or just plays less. The Kenny Britt treatment?

Good point. My RSS feed had the headline "1-game ban" but the link to ESPN and the story itself just said "barred from starting this Sunday."

Not very clear here.

Whats stupid is "banned from Starting" you either bench him for game or you dont. I dont think put him in for the second series sends message. Sit him for the whole game. with that said though , I need him to play for my IDP league.
