Braylon Edwards will make his first appearance in a live football game since injuring his knee last year at Ralph Wilson Stadium in Buffalo during the team's third preseason contest of 2006.
Edwards tore the ACL in his right knee on Dec. 4, 2005 vs. Jacksonville and has spent the past eight-plus months rehabbing. He has slowly worked his way back during training camp and will face his first full contact tonight.
The Browns are about as healthy as they have been since training camp began several weeks ago. Inactives for the game are cornerbacks Gary Baxter (shoulder) and Daylon McCutcheon (knee), offensive tackle Ryan Tucker (knee), and offensive lineman Isaac Sowells (ankle). Offensive lineman Lennie Friedman, acquired in a trade from the Chicago Bears this week, also will not play.
