**Bucs at Texans** (-2,5, 40) 1:00 (1 Viewer)

I think the clock struck midnight on the Baker Mayfield rejuvenation season.

For the Texans, CJ Stroud missed a couple huge plays to Nico Collins last week, but I'm confident enough on Stroud to think that shouldn't be a weekly occurrence, can't promise a ton of targets, but can promise he'll get open against TB.

For the Bucs, the Texans have an underrated defense, and I think can limit a lot of big plays that TB has needed to succeed. I do think this could be a nice Godwin week if Mayfield is willing to take consistent 7-8 yard throws.

I'll say the Texans win 23-16.

Baker and the boys hit the road to play a much improved Houston team.
Bucs are kinda meh. Texans are young and fun to watch.
I'll go with young and fun to watch...

Young and fun to watch- 27
Meh- 20

Houston has been good at home. I think they'll be more focused after coming off a loss to lowly Carolina. 31-20 Houston.

Running game non-existent for Houston. I would keep hitting the medium passing game until it opens up. Texans need to get themslves some better starting field position than inside their 10 series after series as well.

Once again absolutely no running game for the Texans. This OL has a long way to go. The offense is basically whatever CJ Stroud can magically produce, whenever he's not running for his life. Slowik isn't inspiring much confidence lately.

Stroud reminds me of Herbert the way he plays.. He looks really good as a rookie. Texans made the right call on him.
