10.5 Vikings select Wes Welker,WR

Reunited, together again. Him and Brady get along pretty well.

Offense:

Tom Brady

Wes Welker

Andrew Whitworth

Defense:

DeMarcus Ware

Kyle Williams

Anthony Spencer

Bruce Carter

Chad Greenway

Jason McCourty

Arturran Verner
:goodposting: Love the pick.

10.6 Bears -Greg Jennings, WR

Am glad he lasted. Gives Flacco a reliable, battle tested receiver to rely on.

With the 10.9 pick, the 49ers select Desmond Trufant, CB

This CB has been flying up draft boards after his stellar work at the Senior bowl and great measurables at the NFL combine. Widely mocked as a top-10 pick. He can learn year one as my nickle back, with likely promotion to the starting lineup in year 2 and beyond.

QB: Drew Brees

RB: Trent Richardson

WR: Victor Cruz

WR: Marques Colston

LT: Eric Fisher

RT: Dave Stewart

DE: Jared Allen

CB: Tim Jennings

CB: Nnamdi Asomugha

CB: Desmond Trufant

10.11 Dallas Selects - Winston Justice T

Was actually the best pass blocking tackle in the league last year based on advanced stats with a 99.1 Pass block efficiency. Since this team will be slinging it; he will fit in nicely as a bookend protector of my QB along with Joeckle.

WR Calvin Johnson Jr. 1.11

WR Mike Wallace 5.22

WR Tavon Austin 9.22

LT Luke Joeckel 3.22

LG Carl Nicks 7.22

RT Winston Justice 10.11

10.12 Cincinnati Bengals select Vontae Davis, CB

I'm continuing the theme of a young, athletic defense here with Davis. He was hurt for a large portion of last season but when he came back he was dominant. He was so young when he was drafted that he's already got 4 years of NFL experience at only 24 years old.

Offense

1.12 QB Matt Ryan

6.12 RB Arian Foster

3.21 WR Michael Crabtree

2.21 LT Ryan Clady

8.12 LG Andy Levitre

Defense

4.12 DL Corey Liuget

5.21 DE Carlos Dunlap

7.21 DE/OLB Dion Jordan

9.21 DE/OLB Barkevious Mingo

10.12 CB Vontae Davis

10.14 Oakland Raiders Select Prince Amukamara, CB

Had this guy stayed healthier so far in his career, I believe that he would have been long gone at this point. He turns 24 this year and still has his best football ahead of him. I believe he has all the tools to become a solid #1 corner in this league for years to come. I don't trust Talib as my #1 CB of the future, but I do like him as a #2 guy so this sets me up nicely.

QB - Peyton Manning

RB - Doug Martin

WR - Julio Jones

OT - Jordan Gross

OG - Chris Snee

OT - Donald Penn

DE - Julius Peppers

OLB - Ahmad Brooks

CB - Prince Amukamara

CB - Aqib Talib

Paused for awhile on Rhodes thinking of taking Prince. Nice blend of youth and experience.

Thanks. Yeah, I figured I had to pull the trigger now with Dee Milliner and Xavier Rhodes already selected plus Vontae Davis was the other corner on the board that I still liked.

On the bright side, his siblings are still available: Promise Amukamara, Princess Amukamara, Peace Amukamara, Precious Amukamara, Passionate Amukamara

10.15 Cardinals select Cecil Shorts III, WR

The WR run really hurt because all four of my targets were taken. I assumed one of them would fall. Shorts has had a minor concussion history, but to me that's his only drawback. He's a young WR who looked legit last year with two QBs that will likely be worse than even the guy I'll end up with. I feel that he can develop into a true #1 WR in a short time.

Offense:

6.15 Jason Peters

7.18 Rodger Saffold

9.18 Brian De La Puente

10.15 Cecil Shorts

Defense:

1.15 Geno Atkins

2.18 Muhammad Wilkerson

3.18 Daryl Washington

4.15 Ryan Kerrigan

5.18 Brandon Carr

8.15 Star Lotulelei

Interesting... either you're really high on him or I'm really low...

I'm probably higher on him than most, but I truly believe he's got a great future. I see no reason why he couldn't develop into the level of Cruz, Crabtree, and other WRs that were taken much earlier in this draft.

I like him but he's not going to develop into a Cruz/Crabtree on that offense. He needs to learn to hold on to the football. He dropped 14% of his catchable balls last season, which is among the worst in the league. With a great QB that number could go down due to better spirals/positioning, but you won't have a great QB.That being said, there aren't many better options this late so I don't think it's a bad pick.

I'm not going to argue with you about this past this post because, like the Flacco "discussion," it would be pretty fruitless, but I will say that you sound way lower on Shorts than most people. His true value almost certainly lies in between where you and I value him. That being said, of course there are some solid WRs left on the board, but much of this draft is about the youngsters with upside, and Shorts is one of the few left that not only has that upside but has also shown serious chops at the NFL level, limiting his downside. Regardless of how you view him, I don't think you can really say a guy on pace for nearly 1400 yards and 9 TDs in what was one of the worst offenses in the league doesn't have the ability to succeed in this league any more than any of the other WRs left.

If you believe in his talent and what he showed last year then he's definitely a solid pick at this point in the draft so I have no issues with it at all.

17.Packers Shakezula

18.Lions Fubar

19.Jets Duckboy

20.Bucs Bamac

21.Chargers WuBanger

22.Browns ExaltedOne

:kicksrock: this is where things get tough...

I'll take the talented kid from Syracuse with a "troubled past" who so far has done fairly well.

10.18, Mike Williams (Bucs) WR

Wanted Smith or Amakamura here but will go with my third option:

10.19 CB Tramon Williams

Takes more chances but he and Joseph should be a good combo.

From bamac 10.20Nick Perry, DE -- looked good when healthy last year
Damn, was hoping to get him later.
He was on my two player list for this pick ....fortunately my other player is still here.San Diego Chargers select -DT / DE Sheldon Richardson , MissouriShows the ability to be dominate as Star and Floyd and happy to land him much later than those fellow rooks
