I'm obviously not as high on Gaither as you are. Neither are his teammates according to this article: http://www.utsandiego.com/news/2013/jan/04/acee-jared-gaither-return/You can't count on him to even be out there since he's only started 20 games in the last 4 years.

Your other side is the 5th best rookie OT in the draft.

Yet it is almost 4 months since that article and Gaither is still on the team. Possible that the new coach/GM (who were not there when that article was printed, correct?) may see something different in him. All I know is that he was possibly the best OT in football the latter part of 2011, so the talent is there. Just have to get the head right. Going to an organization like the Colts may help him in that regard? Menelik Watson is the 4th or 5th projected Offensive tackle in the draft, but the #1 or #2 right tackle. Watson should be fine, but he'll likely have some growing pains starting as a rookie without great help from a vet guard or blocking TE.My main problem with Gaither isn't his head, but his back. Because of his height (6'9") he has to bend a lot to get leverage, and this leads to back problems that have plagued him his whole career. I'm from MD so I've watched him closely for a while, as his size/strength/talent have always intrigued me. The problem is he's proven he can't stay on the field.

I agree, I think Nelson is one of the best WR's in the league. Of course his QB helps a lot, but everything I've seen from Nelson has been great.

It's funny how this happens. Jordy was a high 2nd round draft pick, who ran a 4.5 flat at 6'3" 215. He put up monster numbers. People are crowing Cobb and have accepted Jennings as a top level player, despite them sharing the same QB/offense. Cobb and Jennings were both drafted after Jordy, and despite being much shorter and smaller, didn't run much faster than him. I am not accusing anyone individually of this, and I hate to play the race card, but I - for the life of me - can't find other reasoning, aside from him not "looking" like the typical NFL WR, due to pigment.

I agree, I think Nelson is one of the best WR's in the league. Of course his QB helps a lot, but everything I've seen from Nelson has been great.

Nelson would be good anywhere. He helps Rodgers as much as Rodgers helps him.

That's fair and my intial comment was to the "your 3 WRs" v. the "GB 3 WRs" and not necessarily Bowe v. Nelson. Either way both comparisons are close and one could argue either side.

I view Wayne as my slot receiver on most downs. Historically, Wayne has worked on the outside but played in the slot last year and had a career year as a result. Wayne isn't explosive, extremely quick, physical, or fast and never has been. He is the best technician in the league and putting him in the slot helps get him a clean release on the line. Despite being injured the entire season, he made big plays for the Redskins consistently and seemed to get a long TD with pretty good frequency. The one long TD against the Cowboys with the amazing acrobatic catch behind him sticks out in my mind.

I do agree both sets are very good. I'd say Nelson and Bowe are close enough to consider that a push. I'd say Garcon is better than Jones though and I think the difference is pretty sizeable. Jones really stood out last year though so the gap may be shrinking. Wayne vs. Cobb is tough to compare because they are so completely different in what they offer. Everything considered, I can see an argument for both sides but for me personally, I like my trio better.

I probably didn't state what I meant to say. I was under the impression that past stats affected the perception of both players which is obviously unfair to compare considering the difference in quarterback play. Both are relatively complete receivers but, as I've stated in other posts, I think Bowe offers a little more to his game than Nelson.
