16.12 Cincinnati Bengals select Terron Armstead, OT

This small-school tackle reminds me a lot of Joe Staley. He ran a 4.7 40 at 306 pounds! I think he's a great fit for the zone-blocking offense that I'm building here.

Offense

1.12 QB Matt Ryan

6.12 RB Arian Foster

3.21 WR Michael Crabtree

11.21 TE Greg Olsen

2.21 LT Ryan Clady

8.12 LG Andy Levitre

16.12 RT Terron Armstead

Defense

4.12 DL Corey Liuget

5.21 DL Carlos Dunlap

15.21 DT Dan Williams

7.21 DE/OLB Dion Jordan

16.14 Oakland Raiders Select Kawann Short, Defensive Tackle

This is probably a reach but I really like this guy's talent and I expect him to end up being one of the better interior linemen to come out of this draft class. I couldn't risk waiting another round since he's my first DT pick.

QB - Peyton Manning

RB - Doug Martin

WR - Julio Jones

WR - Denarius Moore

TE - Dustin Keller

LT- Jordan Gross

LG - Chris Kuper

RG - Chris Snee

RT - Donald Penn

DE - Julius Peppers

DE - Da'Quan Bowers

DT - Kawann Short

OLB - Ahmad Brooks

CB - Prince Amukamara

CB - Aqib Talib

S - Kerry Rhodes

I had a hard time making this pick because I still have a lot of holes to fill, but I think this pick can help separate my defense from the rest of the pack.

16.15 Cardinals select Mike DeVito, DE/NT

I made this pick for a few reasons:

1. I think he's BPA by a fair margin. He was highly praised by PFF and common analysts alike last year. He was a dominate as a run stopper and even though he didn't pile up sacks, he was good at collapsing the pocket on passing downs. PFF graded him out as a top 10 3-4 DE and his 52 tackles only trailed Watt, Wilkerson, Justin Smith, and Calais Campbell among 3-4 ends. He's a fantastic 2 down lineman without being a liability on passing downs.

2. Last year DeVito lined up as both DE and NT in the Jets 3-4 scheme. This versatility allows him to spell all three of my D-linemen when needed. It also gives me an opportunity to use a more hybrid front than a pure 3-4 since Wilkerson and DeVito are used to lining up all over the line, Atkins is talented enough to excel in any scheme, and there's always a place for a dominant NT no matter what.

3. I want my defense to absolutely control the line of scrimmage on every single play. My starting three can't play every snap, so I need a great rotational player to ensure that my D-line never backs down. Looking at snap counts provided by PFF, it seems that coaches try and limit their best D-linemen to around 70-80% of the snaps in a game. Since I would feel comfortable giving DeVito around 67% (two downs) worth of total snaps, I can limit Atkins, Wilkerson, and Star to about 75-80% each, ensuring that all four of my linemen are fresh deep into games.

4. This pick also provides me insurance in case Star's heart condition turns for the worst.

Offense:

6.15 Jason Peters, LT

7.18 Rodger Saffold, RT

9.18 Brian De La Puente, C

10.15 Cecil Shorts, WR

11.18 Keenan Allen, WR

14.15 Larry Warford, RG

15.18 Heath Miller, TE

Defense:

1.15 Geno Atkins, RE

2.18 Muhammad Wilkerson, LE

3.18 Daryl Washington, ILB

4.15 Ryan Kerrigan, OLB

5.18 Brandon Carr, CB

8.15 Star Lotulelei, NT

12.15 Thomas DeCoud, FS

13.18 Reggie Nelson, SS

16.15 Mike DeVito, DE/NT

I'm curious to see where he goes in the NFL draft due to injury. Before the injury he was considered a lock 1st round pick and one of the (if not THE) top offensive linemen in this draft.

High character, high football IQ, versatile - played every position along the line, only person to win an Outland and a Remington at two different positions or in two different years. Anchor of the best OL in college the last few years. The only reason he's fallen this far is the injury. As I'm more interested in 2014 on than 2013, he's an easy pick.

16.18 Barrett Jones, C/G/T

16.19 S Louis Delmas

Choosing between him and another option that I hope drops back to me. He and Bethea should make a good pair, assuming he can stay healthy. jenkins was my target here originally.

16.22 Cleveland Browns select Osi Umenyiora

He's been better than Justin Tuck the last two years, and I think he's still got several years of quality play left ahead of him.

Offense

4.22 QB Geno Smith

3.11 HB C.J. Spiller

13.11 FB Marcel Reece

1.22 WR A.J. Green

2.11 WR Demaryius Thomas

14.22 TE Tony Gonzalez

5.11 LT William Beatty

12.22 LG Rob Sims

8.22 OC John Sullivan

11.11 RG Louis Vasquez

7.11 RT Gosder Cherilus

Defense

15.11 DE Brian Robison

16.22 DE Osi Umenyiora

10.22 CB Derek Cox

6.22 S Reshad Jones

9.11 S Troy Polamalu

Thanks, I'll be in and out this afternoon and I might be away for extended periods of time. I only sent you one guy but I'm confident he'll be there because the teams who pick before me have that position already filled out.

16.24 - Dolphins select - Rob Housler, TE

Looks to be an improving tight end who needs more playtime/consistency. Only 24, should have time to build and improve certain aspects of his game. Also being one of the fastest tight ends to be in the league, I feel he is underutilized in Arizona and should have a better chance here. Issue is QB since I do not have one, but Housler should be a good safety net for him.

Offense

2.09 - Russell Okung, LT

3.09 - Randall Cobb, WR

6.24 - Josh Sitton, OG

8.24 - Stefen Wisniewski, C

10.09 - Jeremy Maclin, WR

12.24 - John Greco, OG

14.24 - Chris Hairston, RT

16.24 - Rob Housler, TE

Defense:

1.24 - Navorro Bowman, LB

4.24 - Robert Quinn, DE

5.09 - Charles Tillman, DB

7.09 - Jabaal Sheard, DL/LB

9.09 - Morgan Burnett, FS

11.09 - Colin McCarthy, LB

13.09 - Donte Whitner, SS

15.09 - Jimmy Smith, DB

16.6 Bills - Dunta Robinson, CB

Figure I should get a vet who can still play since Houston is a little shaky

Someone please pm Gandalas

With pick 16.27, the Colts select SS George Wilson

Solid Veteran. Released by Buffalo and immediately signed by Tennessee. I will move Clemons to Free safety and have Wilson as my in the box safety. Clemons is more than fast enough to man FS for me.

16.29 Houston Selects Adrian Wilson - SS

We with Griffin playing FS; Adrian will be able to flex into a lot of different roles in this D, he is one of the best blitzing safety, solid in coverage, and can hit like a linebacker. Perfect for this defensive scheme.

16.31 Broncos select Rolando McClain, MLB

So this is a bit of a risky pick, but on the field this dude is talented. And a beast of a run stopper. We'll see, I think it's about time to take a risk here.

16.25 Chiefs select Glover Quin Jr., SS
My explanation for the pick:A versatile safety who is good against the run and a good blitzer. In the Texan's dime package, he essentially plays linebacker. He is a converted cornerback and has excelled in the Texan's aggressive man scheme, which falls inline with what I want to do on defense. He is a solid slot defender and can matchup against tight ends. He has been the Chief's target from the start of the draft.

I think the Texans have the best secondary in the league...

SS Adrian Wilson

FS Michael Griffin

CB Darrelle Revis

CB Dee Milliner

Any challengers?

17.04 Houston Selects - Vonta Leach - FB

As a ground and pound offense, we need a good lead blocker. Leach is the best blocking FB in the league. Forte should find plenty of room behind this wall of meat...

LT Matt Kalil

LG Davin Joseph

C Ryan Kalil

RG Chance Warmack ®

RT TBD

FB Vonta Leach
