Level 287 in the dreamworld and I capped out at 619 on the regular levels. I'm just waiting for them to update the game on FB.

That's the only time I buy lives too. If I know I can do it in the next move, I'll pay the .99 cents.

 
Ive never spent a penny. Been on a few levels for a month at a time. Currently on 425 and recently started into the dreamworld when I have to wait 24 hours for the quests.

? don't think I've ever waited on dreamworld.

Finally passed 247. that sucked. It looked easy, but the dang falling licorice screwed me every time.

No, I meant I started playing the dreamworld while I waited for the regular quests.

How did you beat 276? 300 blue with the owl and starting with 15(?) candies only, is tough. I've only gotten half in my best attempt.

How did you beat 276? 300 blue with the owl and starting with 15(?) candies only, is tough. I've only gotten half in my best attempt.

You get 45 candies but yeah, that was a hard level. I think I may have used special candies and tried to get as many combos as possible. Mainly the black candy plus stripped ones worked best. Also try to get the bricks broken as quickly as possible. It been a while so I forgot, I'm on 325 already.

No, you get 45 turns and start with 13 candies, the rest of the board is bricks.

 
Did you ever notice once you get past a tough (for you) stage, you bang thru the next 5-10 levels like a hot knife thru butter?

:yes: Spent close to 3 weeks on one level.. completed it last week and went through the next 5 or 6 levels without losing one life..

OH! Sorry I misunderstood. Yes, like 13 candies. I would say the advice is the same, try to kill the bricks as fast as possible and save all your special candies for combos. I tried it last night after you sent me and I got down to 87 blues needed. It's doable just a pain. If you you can use any of the special candies to start you should.

 
452 needing 80 stripes to complete? :loco: Seems impossible, obviously need magic ball paired with a stripe but have only gotten it below 20 once. Gonna be here awhile.

it takes a while but if you get one or two sprinkles with stripe mix, it's not overly difficult.

276 and then 277 were the most frustrating...especially 277 because two 3 candy matches are enough to tip that &%$#ing owl...

276 and then 277 were the most frustrating...especially 277 because two 3 candy matches are enough to tip that &%$#ing owl...

I got lucky on 277, hit a nice combo when the owl was out.

Paid to get more moves and pass 276. On 289 now which doesn't seem horrible.

Agreed. You just have to be patient until the owl is gone and how you get some nice combos. I hate levels like that. I'm on 340 and it sucks.

Okay I may be uninstalling this game finally. It seems that after the latest update, you need a FB account to play the game. I have gotten along just fine without a FB account and I am not going to open one just to play a game.

Reading their forums it seems I am not the only one irked, so they need to fix this or they are going to lose quite a few players.

Level 377 right now and this would suck.

 
Just got to level 666, christ need to hit 666 blues in 66 moves. Let's see how this shakes out.

Not too bad, took 5 tries, once you clear the timebombs you should be good to go.

677 and 383 in DW and I hit a wall. I may have to rack up boosters everyday for a month and one day will get lucky. No way I'm playing this everyday and not wasting a dime on the game.

If the ingredient doesn't spawn in the middle, I exit and restart. Other than that, I learned that the 2nd and 3rd ingredients drop at 25 and 10 moves left, so I try to make a move in the middle.

What I need is hammers. Once I had all three ingredients stuck with a brick thingy (no idea what they are called) and can't kill it. I freaking hate this level.

 
I think posting in this thread is good luck. Every time I say I am stuck on a level, I clear it shortly after. Thorn, thanks for the advice. I did what you said and made a move when the third ingredient was about to drop and got them all to line up. So clearing that column was all it took!

And of course, I beat 665 on the first attempt.
