Capella's 24-hour, VERY bigly OH MY GOD HOW DID WE GET HERE thread (3 Viewers)

Objectively wrong.
Uh-huh.  Keep telling yourself that.  Clinton is an ###### hated by people I live around every day.  Anyone who didn't get that calls the Midwest "flyover country".

Welcome to flyover country's reaction to shoving Clinton down our throats after Obamacare and the transsexual bathroom stuff and college "safe spaces".  I didn't vote for Trump, but I understand those who did and the arrogant jerks who think they are smarter than everyone else are to blame for infuriating these people enough to vote for Donald freaking Trump. Wake up liberal America, you aren't as smart as you think you are.  You actually have to listen to the opposition on occasion and consider their arguments without calling them racist bigots.

I value all the posters on this board, so here's some free advice.  Take a deep breath tomorrow and don't talk politics at work.  I envision a lot of people getting called by HR after this election.

Don't get fired over this.
Majority of my office went libertarian or at least voiced it. And or  didn't feel confident in any candidate so weren't voting

I live in the Dallas area now FWIW

I think the resounding message the people reflected tonight is that we would all be ready for a female president, just not that #####.

Cory Booker 2020 is an inevitability
He's gotta love this.  Unless Trump does something spectacular (and I don't think the economy is going to be a big enough tailwind) I fully expect a D president in 4 years.  As long as we can get a couple/few SCOTUS judges in there it will be worthwhile.

I can't believe she's going to lose PA :lmao:    How bad do you have to be at running for president to do that.  I very unpopular Obama won that by 5% against a much better candidate than Trump.

The primary problem is people deciding that a con man with no political experience, sketchy business experience, denying of climate change, willful ignorance of how the world works, and did not get more informed about domestic or foreign policy over his entire campaign should be in charge of the entire country.  And that's without mentioning a long history of racist and sexist behavior that likely has a long string of unprosecuted crimes.  That's the primary problem.  Trump should have been disqualified from the race the moment he entered.  And he wasn't.  Who his opponent was is immaterial to any of that.

Michigan too, it's ridiculous.  Obama brought out the collective spirit of America, Hillary brought out a purple jellycock that was rescued from a dumpster.

The main demographic that got Trump elected are dumb, racist, white people and there are people here that are proud of this.
It's funny how Republicans are labeled as such yet its your side doing all the name calling.  I thought Democrats were the tolerant ones?

#### this country and #### it's constitution

I've never been more disappointed in our country. Good job generation of people who ####ed up our country, bravo - your legacy will outlive most of you, doubt half of you even make it through this presidency.

Pretty numb honestly, man. This #### stick Trump better prove me wrong. I have zero hope he is capable.
There have been bigger surprises.  Problem with Trump is on the effectiveness scale even if you think the mean is positive the standard deviation is just about infinite.
