Panthers PK is now officially out after suffering some sort of leg injury in warmups.  I don't think I've ever seen that happen before, though I'm sure it has.

My son and I were just talking that it's kind of odd that there haven't been more "dual threat" PK-Ps.  I mean, they're specialists so they can do a lot of training on their own anyway.  It's not like you're playing CB so there's never any time to practice with the WRs or anything like that.  And it seems like the general skillset would be similar, and teams would love to save the roster spot presumably.

"The Panthers are without their K. Punter Lachlan Edwards will handle FGs. Here he is. [warming up his throwing arm]"

Chubba, where was this #### last week?
Well, he wasn’t playing the Swiss cheese Buffalo run defense last week.

At this point Buffalo has demonstrated they have zero ability to stop the run or pressure thr QB without blitzing, and no ability to protect their own QB. Awfully hard to win with that combination.

This happens at least once every year in the NFL. Can't for the life of me figure out why coaches don't figure out an emergency kicker during the week.

Buffalo’s O-line is a dumpster fire. They aren’t great even with everyone healthy. With 2 guys out with Covid, they’re pretty much a disaster.

The punter is typically the holder, so if the P is your holder, you need to replace the both….

Maybe the solution could be to have the punter practice kicking with the kicker as the holder…

Lol at the Bills guy that grabbed Newton’s fanny pack in a futile attempt to tackle him
What’s shocking is that any Buffalo D-lineman was that close to him at all. What was not surprising is that their linebacker Edmunds was nowhere to be found and Newton ripped off a big gain. Rinse repeat all season.

Josh Allen is the entire offense and a significant percentage of the rest of the offense continually does their best to undermine him.

Not for nothing, but Harrison Phillips has really come on lately and has been very good against the run. He’s almost definitely their best run defender right now.

Can someone please inform Daboll that crossing routes are allowed in Buffalo’s playbook. After 20 years watching teams (Pats) use these to beat the Bills I am still waiting for them to realize they are great options on 3rd down.

Yes.  Better than Beasley too (but they play different positions of course).
I didn’t think Davis had what it takes to be a future #1. But he might. He has really turned things up a notch lately. Running great routes, is a great run blocker, has showed nice hands, and he is beating guys deep. The Bills are clearly a better offense when he is involved more.
