Cavalier Crypto 101 (1 Viewer)

Well I would like to have all investments set by 1.31.18.  6 shares max per person if no objections.  Plus some input on if you are looking to get in something specific.

I suggest you set a final date and I'll update the share price at 9pm that day.  Could be a big mess if different days.

Also, IOTA.... dump it (and get a tax loss).... Did you see vid yesterday on it?

Lastly, when you quoted everyone above with the @'s, not one of them is an active link and no one got a notification.

There was no protest  :lmao:    I just thought we should set one price to make it easy for you.  

Set the price next Monday at 9pm and they have to have money in by Tuesday at noon. They sold that fast before....

If the ,market goes up or down by Monday 50%, are you still going to sell them for $100/each?   Why would someone invest $100 for something worth $50?   If it goes up 50%, then someone pays $100 and gets something worth $150.  Sorry, don't see how selling them at $100 makes sense, unless the shares are at $100.

If the shares are worth the price right now at $108.89, and you add 70 shares at $100 each, the new total of 171 shares are then worth $105.25 each.  That doesn't make sense.

Yes, you will have like a 12 hour lag time to get the money sent to you and then 4-5 days to invest it, but that's what the prior two groups had also.

This is true. Filter out the stupid fiat-only, newspaper-reading, check-writing, local news watching noobs and make crypto deposits mandatory.

 
Wouldn't it be easier to just wait til it drops to exactly even or a bit negative then everyone can paypal their shares that day?

Clearly this may not happen but with the price fluctuations it almost certainly will happen again and more than once.  It has already happened 2 separate days.

 
So I installed Bitcoin Core - Wallet on my laptop and I was initially annoyed because it had to download all BTC blocks from 2013.  It updated overnight and when I logged in this am, there was a balance of 0.039 BTC.  I was :shuked: and when I looked at the transactions, there was a daily deposit of ~.001 BTC from mining in 2013.  I was mining on a completely different computer (PC) and somehow this wallet which I installed on a MacBook linked to the mining balance.  Not a huge sum, but I will take it.

 
Sorry for if I missed it but why not just setup another fund instead of adding to the existing one? Just for the ease of the spreadsheet and management aspects?

 
Price is about as close to dead on as you are going to get this morning, if there ever is going to be a good time to do the additional buy in now might be it.

Not quite like 50 Cent finding 700 Bitcoins he made a decade ago.  

 
Let the man run this fund the way he sees best.  You are along for a ride, if you don't like, you have plenty of alternatives out there.

Interested in two more, I still don't truly believe in it but I do want to be in the game.  

Will await further instruction from the King of Crypto.
