Bet the we have to buy at a 100 crowd sings a different tune today.
Not really- My point was to invest it when it reaches near even (which to me is +/- 3%)

I never expected to have my share count as 1 share if it was a far different price.

I think giving 100 now and then he can do whenever close or now.  I am fine at 95% as well.

Seemed easiest to me and still seems easiest.

Or we can just leave it with you and let it ride?

Do you have someone assigned who can access the funds if you're not able for any reason?
My wife know what is the groups.  I'm going to move what I can to hard storage that chet will have the restore words too.  But we can lose 10 shares or more transfering some coins.

Well, last call to get your money back.  If I took new money I don't see how I wouldn't put 80% into BTC.  Which is what I did today personally.  So no need for new money, just buy some BTC.

BTC = all of crypto?
BTC is the driver. You aren't going to have BTC tank and everything else rise.

I look at BTC as Napster to Spotify or Friendster to Facebook, so the aforementioned sentence will change at some point, just not yet.

The crypto account here was up to what, $22k a month ago? It's at $8k now - if you're a small retail investor, you wouldn't consider that type of move a bloodbath? Come on.

Oh, you're being willfully ignorant again.  OK.

6 weeks ago XLM was selling for $.18.

6 weeks ago NEO was at $46.35

6 weeks ago STEEM was under $2.

6 weeks ago ETH was at $670

Hope my brokerage account gets slaughtered like that over the next 6 weeks.

Yes, someone is most certainly being willfully ignorant here - apparently you're the magic crypto investor who has avoided all of the minefields in January, bc it certainly was a pleasant month for most crypto investors

You didn't say month.  You said 6 weeks.

If you're going to cherry pick, then cherry pick consistently.

Just driving by, anybody jumping out of windows yet?

(GM notwithstanding as it's always an option for him on any given day)

I pull my money out when the market started to crash and put it back in when it started to rebound.  Was not even close to timing the market perfectly, but still a bit a head of where I was yesterday even with crypto being down.

1. It's just $300.

2. Don't invest more than you can afford to lose. My mindset going in was any return at all would be a nice surprise. I just didn't want to torture myself watching everyone else make a fortune while I sat on the sidelines.

3. I'm staying in for the looooong haul. I figure it either skyrockets or crashes to near zero.

I opened an old wallet last summer and found 3 bitcoins. At that time the wallet was worth $6,000. Today, that wallet is worth $36k. Down from the peak for sure but it’s all about perspective

Excellent story, Chet.

I'm extremely certain that there are quite a lot of people out there that can relate to this.
