CBS sportsline revamp (1 Viewer)

I hate the direction websites are going. Give me plain and simple. Don't need all this bubbly dashboard stuff.

The other issue is with not being able to set future weeks lineup. You can't change the next weeks lineup until Tuesday.

I am trying to look at the Points against numbers. Obviously average numbers throughout the whole season is useful. However, looking at whom they played, and how that team is trending recently is also quite important.

When I click on the particular team in question, I'm redirected to a page that reads "An error has occurred. Oops. Something went wrong along the way".

Anybody else notice this?

Add/drop is mind blowingly bad and full of bugs
I'm surprised this hasn't gotten more notice. They took what used to be a full screen priority by click ordering system and have now squeezed into this little pup up menu that is difficult to navigate. It's hard to believe any beta tester thought this was a good idea.
Just dropped Travis Kelce for the Ravens defense. CBS programmers can suck my ####. I'll be really lucky to outbid everyone to get him back now. He's sitting out there like a blue light special.
Really? I have never had an issue like this in 5+ years playing there. The UI could be better but I've never seen issues where I accidentally dropped the wrong player.

Sorry to hear it. Scary.

This season, I decided to complain about every ship-awful change.

They actually fixed one. the player popovers that only showed the last three games for each player and next three games. It still required a scroll, so why not show all? They changed it to show all.

But the Add/Drop poplet crapfest? That thing is horrible. they must have tested it extensively with three roster moves queued. I often have an add/drop slate with a dozen or more boves. I need to scroll and click and scroll and click to prioritize them.

There have been numerous bugs with the Android app just having bad or no data for many player sorts. They kept telling me it was a problem with my client. Typical nonsense answers when they're not reaching the correct data source. They've got a real bad crew of developers this year and they make the site look like one big flat mess of crap. The emails have devolved into nothingness. Where's the formatting on most reports? the Transactions Report is indecipherable in the emails. No formatting.

Many of the dialog boxes have poor wording. I am a commish. I am very wary of accidentally processing a trade when making a trade offer. What does the site say when I submit a trade offer? "Trade Submitted Successfully!" Makes my heart jump every time. What is wrong with "Trade OFFER Submitted Successfully!" ???

The entire experience is hindered by making the site phone-friendly.

Plus, to this day (since like 2004) there is no way to make a league public. Can't send a friend a hyperlink to a game result. No. That is only for league members. Serio? Oooo-wee, what up with that?

The site flat out sucks balls.

Someone must have gotten the message because the add/drop module is finally full-screen again.

As above they also got the message about just showing the past 3 games only instead of the full schedule.

Still cant trade future draft picks in dynasty leagues. How difficult would that be? We have to still manage those manually, which is fine, but just adds more work and more room for error. You can do it on MFL which I believe costs less than half the price, and no advertisements all over your page. I am constantly mis-clicking and being taken to Aaron Rodgers State Farm ad when all I wanted to do was check Drew Brees YTD numbers.

I despise CBS, but 12 years of history and familiarity keeps us coming back. One year we will muster up the cajones to make the change.

I've brought this up to them numerous times and they always say they can't do it. Funny how cheaper sites offer the ability to do so.

I'm amazed CBS can't figure that out. For crying out loud, Fleaflicker offers this option for free!

Oh, and another thing. On the web site proper, viewed in a web browser, players' points per game are calculated by dividing the player's total points by the games in which the player has played.

On the mobile app for Android, players' points per game are calculated by dividing the player's total points by the number of weeks which have passed in the NFL season, irrespective of whether the player's team has played in those weeks or if with player has played in the games his team has played. This past week, on the mobile app, all players' PPG were set to their total points divided by ten.

This makes for some difficult decidering when sitting on the bowl.

When does the upgrade normally happen with the launch of the 2015 product, Wonder what changes will be made if any.
I'm guessing it will be like the ####ty baseball revamp
I don't play baseball with them. I hate the drop downs from last year as they never go away and it's a pain on any system I use.

I wish they offered future draft picks for trade, thats the only dynasty feature MFL has that I want.

My league developed a solution to the 'future pick' problem. The commish is able to create a new player and name him '2016 1st' or whatever. Only problem is that every time CBS does its yearly update, all of the created picks get scrambled around and jumbled between all the teams for absolutely NO CONCEIVABLY GOOD REASON! It causes a crisis every year cuz we trade lots of picks. We now have to take screenshots every time we trade.

Its also nowhere near mobile friendly. Its a massive pain in the ### to zoom around and tap on the mobile version.

We've been with CBS for a decade, its an absolute joke of a product and I've asked our commish to switch a billion times. So far the only reason he's given why we dont is "mfl is ugly"... Which I admit, it is. So were stuck paying more for an inferior product.

I agree as well, MFL looks like a child created it and I don't have hours on hours to make it look like a decent website.

CBS history tracker and live scoring is great. Last years update was just terrible. The layout just was choppy and everything was slow. Hoping this year is different.

Last year all our trades that were made in June didn't appear when the new update launched awhile after.

I keep coming back.

The live scoring is definitely superior on CBS. I'll give them that.

6/30 is the earliest draft date available?
Actually you can choose that (the earliest) date, but once you have it set up you can start it at any time. The earliest date that I could have chosen was June 23 (and may draft is still set up for that date), but I started it last week and we're actually finished now.

What do you mean? so I set mine for 7/3 - the person picking 1.1 can select? Every time I set it earlier - it defaults it to 6/30 - We do a slow draft 10 hours on the clock - 6 round dynasty.

Set it up for whatever date you want. Then as commissioner go in and "start draft" and the team with the first pick can start picking.
