**Champions Week on Christmas - Ravens 10-5 at Texans 9-6** (+5.5, 46.5) 4:30 "Netflix" (4 Viewers)

The Texans aren't a good team in my opinion. They are simply the class of the worst division in the NFL. The Ravens are the best team in the NFL when they are on. I think this is a blowout.

Ravens D has improved, and Collins is the only real threat anymore. I doubt Diontae Johnson makes an impact, and I could see him not even playing. Maybe Schultz is a decent start based on garbage time? Mixon is likely TD or bust in non-PPR, and has been losing some snaps on 3rd downs of late. Houston is pretty locked into the #4 seed.

I think the Ravens do whatever they want on offense...as per usual. I would personally argue Lamar/Henry as MVP/OPOY, they could easily be 14-1 right now. I just don't think its possible to stop both, and its barely possible to stop one or the other, and I doubt Houston puts up any resistance. Rookie Roger Rosengarten really played well these last 2 weeks, going up against TJ Watt and Brian Burns. Now he gets Will Anderson. Talk about your trials by fire.

I think the game is gonna be closer than you do, but I want to address what I bolded in your post. From everything I've read & heard, Baltimore was sweating bullets in the 2nd round waiting for Rosengarten to fall to them. He's been everything they could have hoped for. So has their 1st round pick, Nate Wiggins.

As for the game itself, I wouldn't be shocked at all if the Ravens lose. Houston's good even with the injuries - they are at home in a prime TV spot.

I think Baltimore pulls away late: something like 29-20.

Houston has nothing to play for on a short week. Blowout incoming.

Also, I’d be hesitant to start both Mixon and Collins.

Texans have little to play for and are extremely banged up on a short week. Some possibility they'll play this same team two weeks from now. Ravens need to win to take their division. Expect the Texans won't put up much of a fight because they don't have to, so this may end up a boring one-sided game.

Texans look like a broken team. Not sure what pieces they need but they sure dont look like a team that can beat another good team right now

No Cade Stover still after his appendectomy, though believe he practiced.

Diontae is active, at least

A win today and next week and Texans are 3 seed would be what they are playing for.

Quite possibly could go that way. Playing devil's advocate, this is a top defense that gave Josh Allen, Jared Goff and Tua their worst games of the season. Also the aforementioned this game is literally for the 3 seed as Texans would hold conf record tiebreaker with a win.

But playing more devil's advocate to what I just said.. the loss of Pitre and now Ward is going to be more impactful against Ravens than anyone else, as a lot of run stopping comes from having them in the box at nickel.

Radio said they will use Lassiter in that spot today due to his physical play. But that will make the pass D weaker too on the outside.

Man I felt bad before this started for those poor Texans fans who got tickets to this game for Christmas. Bloodbath expected, so far going as I thought it would.

Stroud Jesus dude. You gotta be better.
He ruined many in FF. I bought the coolaid - he was rated 5th QB in the FFI poll of about 25 experts preseason. He makes some wow throws into tight windows, many while running. But plays like that along with oline issues and offensive philosophy have me wondering where to put him in redraft.

He's not the next Marino.

Are the Texans going to adjust to stop the run??
Pretty much our entire team is hurt. We will limp into the playoffs as a shell of what we were and exit quickly.

CJ was already running for his life when guys were healthy and now their backups are trying to hold off this Ravens team.

Lol next Marino!!!! Were people really saying that?

Look I think he will be a great QB. His protection this season is night and day from last season. That has definitely got inside his head and they have a seasons worth of film on him from his rookie campaign.

If he is as good as I think he will be, he will have a productive off season and make the adjustments he needs to make for his third season.

In redraft next season he could be a sneaky value play because no one is reaching on him after his sophomore campaign.

Dan Marino? Lord no.

Idiot play by Stroud. 3rd and 2 and you take a 11 yard sack loss. What happened to this dude?
He’s forcing thins, not trusting his eyes, and receivers keep coming and going so there’s no chance to develop chemistry. Couple that with a terrible OL and you get what you see.

CJ owns a lot of this, but our OC Slowik simply cannot adjust like even the commentators can clearly see where adjustments are needed.
