**Chargers at Raiders -3.5(52)** Thurs Night Football (1 Viewer)

Herbert is a heck of a rookie
The AFC is absolutely littered with great young QBs. Crazy how many great young QBs the AFC looks to have versus the NFC.

In the AFC you have Allen, Jackson, Mayfield, Burrows, Watson, Mahomes, Herbert and maybe even Tua.

In the NFC you have Murray, and um...... Prescott maybe but he’s 27.

And there’s a pretty good chance Lawrence and Fields both end up in the AFC as well, so potentially 2 more good ones. The AFC could easily end up being the more dominant conference over the next 10 years with all that QB talent.

Gruden is now 18-28 as Head Coach and was paid $100 Million to coach the team.

Brian Flores is 8-5 this season as Head Coach for Miami and has them on the steps of the Playoffs in his 2nd season as Head Coach, next week they meet.

Flores is 13-9 over his last 22 games, 7-2 over his last 9...

Are you a Miami fan? Because if you're a Houston fan, I've got some bad news that was delivered from on high...
Miami also get's the Texan's 2nd round pick in 2021. Kenny Stills played a role:

>>The Dolphins shipped Tunsil, wide receiver Kenny Stills, a fourth-round pick in 2020 and a sixth-round pick in 2021 to Houston. In return, they will receive a pair of first-round picks -- in 2020 and 2021 -- a 2021 second-round pick, cornerback Johnson Bademosi and tackle Julien Davenport.<<

Why? With two firsts and two seconds they could/should add four good, young players this year.

They're not a bad team anymore.
Right and this coaching staff has worked wonders on a lot of guys so I want as many in here as possible until they can get on a deep Playoff Run.

Miami still needs at least 1 solid DL Starter in their base 3-4, they need an Edge Specialist that rushes the QB, they need another LB or two for the long haul, Secondary is getting there. They have 5 Rookies on Offense, it is still very much a work in progress.

Released in October of 2019, Davenport is still a Miami Dolphin i believe as a reserve.

There's something to be said for that.   Flores has that Belichek talent of turning average picks and signings into quality contributors so the more opportunities, the better.

Plus I would like to make a couple points to go with this, great post.

-Flores went thru 2019 without Tua, that's important as I make my 2nd point.

-Miami is only in Year 1 of the Rookie QB Playbook however they are essentially in Year 2 of a strip it bare rebuild that saw them even get rid of a future All Pro in Minkah so they went thru some real hardships. That said, they have 2021 and 2022 to LOAD UP and by that I mean they can spend on things they will never be able to once Tua leaves his rookie deal which most QBs who are worth their salt get it between Year 3 and Year 4, Mahomes got his stroke of Midnight pretty much, KC was under no obligation to do it right then and there, but yet they did, they needed to get him signed to an extension as fast as they could and they did.

My point is Miami has a nice 18-24 month window coming up and they need to use their free agent dollars on things they might not otherwise be able to purchase. This team should look like the Seahawks Defense in 2012-2013 and it's not anywhere close yet but they're working on it fast. That is what you are shooting for even if you fail. Rams had guys on their team when they went to the Super Bowl they could never bring in now. Only so much money to go around when the QB makes $40-$50 Million a year.
