chaun thompson's role in romeo's defense? (1 Viewer)

i have the oportunity to pick thompson up in my zealots dynasty league for cheap. ive been watching him for a couple of years and have heard all of the "potential" storties. is romeo gonna turn this guy into a stud or a part-time pass rusher. how do you guys think the lb corp in clevland will shake out. i know they plan on letting ben taylor go and drafting someone. anythoughts on chaun. will he live up to his raw talent or just fade away???

So much will depend on the draft and free agency. I heard awhile back, sorry can't remember the source, Cleveland would like to move him inside, which the article (source) stated, is suppose to be his more natural position.

While I too have been following him, I think the signing of Willie McGinest to play OLB puts Chaun Thompson on the ILB next to Andra Davis. Ben Taylor's likely departure makes the move more likely too IMO.

I like Chaun alot and tagged him today as a keeper (over Clark Haggans, so it was not a big choice)...

I think the development of the Romeo Crennel's defensive unit will take another step this season and produce more opportunities and FF value players. It's a process with him, not an end result. He wants the players to develop as they play.
