**Chicago at Green Bay** (-10.5) (42). Sunday Night Football (1 Viewer)

I may be drunk, but it look like the ball broke the plain.
Yep. You may be drunk.
Looked pretty clear on replay.. Bears will get the apology tomorrow.
Except it wasn’t clear. 🤷‍♂️

It was clear. You could draw a line down from the ball and it would hit the white stripe.
You can't draw a line down from the ball if you can't see the ball

The one thing about having a redraft league where you wanted to have fun so you picked a Lance/Fields QB combo is that your team is probably in last place.

Oof.

You must hold a football really weird.

Football
The ball is in front of his hand?

Half of his wrist guard is across the goaline. How can you hold a football such that no part of it is past the half way mark on your wrist guard? You wouldn't even be holding it at that point, just balancing on your forearm.

And if you blow up the image larger you can lightly make out the outline of the ball, but that's not really even necessary.

I don't care about either team and have no one involved for fantasy in the play. That was with 100% certainty a touchdown.

Not sure we are looking at the same picture. If half his wrist is in front of the line…half isnt. The way his arm is in that picture…that means the ball is behind that (his arm is curled around the ball…he isn’t holding the ball out at that point) You literally cannot see the football. Meaning there isn’t conclusive proof it crossed. Id also guess that wasn’t the beat timed picture as there was a spot in the video I thought looked more liked a TD than that picture did.

I just don't understand how you hold a football where no part of the football is past your wrist (much less an inch up your wrist like is across the line there). If you're holding a football, the nose of the ball is past your wrist. There's no way to hold it where that's not the case. Your palm can't reach past your own wrist.

If his hand was out yes. His wrist is parallel to the goalline. For the ball to be past that is some strange physiology.

He probably scored…that picture is an awful representation of it and seems more evidence that the ball didn’t cross the plane than evidence it did.
