***Chicago Bears Thread*** Ben Johnson hired. The Resurrection Begins! (1 Viewer)

The impressive thing to me was that we weren't even pretending to throw the ball most of the time and we were still able to run it down their throats like that.  I don't know if they weren't stacking the box by the end of the game or we were just beating it.
That was something wasn't it.

Demps out for the year. Wasn't very good when he was in there. Another wasted signing shopping at the bargain bin for an aging veteran.  Likely cost us the Atlanta game. Amos will be back out there now.  After 3 years of this, surely Pace will learn it's not working.

12 of Glennon’s 15 completions were to RBs. 9 of those were completed either BEHIND or AT the line of scrimmage. Essentially running plays. So 6 passes that were legitimate passing plays for the entire game. 1 that traveled over 10 yards. It's a damn miracle they could overcome that dude's incompetence. And they'll keep playing him.

Glennon officially got credit for 101 passing yards, but his completions only traveled a TOTAL of 19 yards beyond the line of scrimmage.

I believe that but will they catch the ball.  I thought I heard the Bears have the most drops in the NFL.  Wouldn't surprise me.
Lets never underestimate what a competent qb can do.....when the ball is delivered in the optimal location, you almost cant help but to catch it. When it's a little off....mediocre WR's cannot make the catch.

A good qb lifts all ships.

Solid point.

My God

Dowell Loggains: “We’re very aware it’s going to be hard winning games throwing for just over 100 yards."

Dowell Loggains on pass game: "I have plenty of confidence in Mike to be able to do those things and throw the ball down the field."

More. Fun Fact: Bears are the first team since the 2008 Browns w/out a pass play of 25 yards or more in its first 3 games. Long play is 22 yards.

No one knows.  Fox's contract is guaranteed.  Is he trying to get fired or has he just given up after two years because he's tired? Guy has no integrity.

Bears have thrown the ball 107/180 (60%) offensive plays. OL ranks 3rd in YPC & 15th in sacks (7) & 12th in QB hits.

I was at the game and was surprised to see they actually threw it as much as they did.  At one point I had to ask my buddy if the Bears have thrown it more than 5 times.   He wasn’t sure either.

Of of course I was well hydrated

Last time the Bears had a winning streaking- November 9th-15th when they won back to back road games vs the Chargers & Rams (Pre-LA).

Today is my birthday. Can we pleeeease get a win tonight. Come on, Fox.   One time!
Damn, that would be a hell of a present!  Not much better then a win over the Pack.  Happy birthday Flap.

I'm disappointed that my Packer fan friend has kid's school stuff tonight so I can't head over to the Packer bar with him in my bright orange Bears shirt as we do most prime time games.  Man do I get some nasty looks!  Love it.

Thanks my man. Yeah, rubbing it in the faces if Packers fans would be great!

Unfortunately the only time I remember the game going well for us when I have been there was when Shae knocked Rodgers out of the game (not even 100% sure we won that one).  While most of the fans are good natured and I'm not worried being there in a Bears shirt, I kept my mouth pretty shut the rest of that game...

Bears WILL win tonight.  They cant match up in the skill positions, but in the trenches the bears have an overwhelming advantage.  Rogers will be scrambling all night as the bears will attach the non existent O line, without Daniels Long will crush the Dline of the pack...as far as the Bears on O...Howard and Cohen will combine for 250 yards.  Pretty similiar to the Steelers game...

Bears27, pack 19
