Getting dinged up. Luck was on their side with injuries last season. This year not so much.
Meh, I guess a 6 man rotation won't workThat's OK, Leonys Martin can eat up some innings
How'd you weather the storm? Everyone ok, any damage?Oof. Glad Irma had me preoccupied so I didn't have to witness that debacle.
We lost 3 games BrahHow'd you weather the storm? Everyone ok, any damage?
Latin players hate the cold10 game road trip to start 2018? That sucks.
They have major construction work coming over the winter, and want as much time as possible for completion.Limp Ditka said:10 game road trip to start 2018? That sucks.
My family made it out well. I don't have any trees in my yard and I boarded up my more vulnerable windows so no damage to my home. Lakeland did get the eye of the storm though. Huge oak trees ripped out of the ground, roots and all. My business has been without power all week so that's my current concern. We aren't the only ones though. The mayor said yesterday a lot of the systems will have to be rebuilt. How'd you weather the storm? Everyone ok, any damage?
Nope. Can't believe other teams don't do that to him more often.Steven Souza showed no mercy towards Lester tonight.
Because it actually was 15 pitches.Jay's at bat last night to start a rally was great. Seemed like 15 pitches.
MOMENTS THAT MATTERED
Wait for your pitch: Jon Jay's remarkable, 15-pitch at-bat against Woodruff sparked a rally for the Cubs in the fifth inning. After 10 consecutive foul balls, Jay lined a single to right field. Woodruff then hit Bryant with a pitch, and, with lefty Josh Hader ready in the Brewers' bullpen, both runners advanced on Anthony Rizzo's groundout before scoring on Ben Zobrist's bouncer
lies, you know you watched it from the goBecause it actually was 15 pitches.
Oddly enough, I stumbled across the game while sitting in a hotel room waiting for my wife to get ready for dinner and it was right around pitch 8 of that AB.
Nah, but I did watch the 7th on of Thursday's game. Of course I was in a bar in Wisconsin and cheering on the Brew Crew with the soon to be disappointed natives.lies, you know you watched it from the go
Cubs are playing their best baseball.
I was up there for Summer Fest, Brew Crew was up 5 games then.........very cool baseball vibe with all the Milwaukee baseball swag, of course a couple brave souls gave me a hard time about my Cub hat.Nah, but I did watch the 7th on of Thursday's game. Guy is a playoff pitcher.....period.Where's Lester at in this playoff rotation? I don't even know if a gem tonight could move him out of the 4th spot for me.
I’d enjoy a Cub victory just a little morea cubs win and/or a brewers loss tonight would be fun
And Lester is butthurt about it.I’d enjoy a Cub victory just a little more
