Sure as heck did. Damn.Grahamburn said:This one got out of hand quickly.
You could fit five Jumbo Diazes inside Schwarber's head.Schwarbs has a little fire in him. Staring down Jumbo Diaz
it looked more like diaz was pointing at schwarber and yelling/celebrating a little, and schwarber was just kind of looking at him in shock and wondering why.Schwarbs has a little fire in him. Staring down Jumbo Diaz
Phillies would be stupid not to accept that. I personally dont like it
The Cubs are offering standout prospect Javier Baez and established shortstop Starlin Castro in an attempt to land Phillies prized pitcher Cole Hamels, a team executive has told ESPN.com senior baseball writer Jayson Stark.
Stark added, however, that the Phillies are not enthralled with either player. But the Cubs remain determined in their efforts to trade for Hamels.
"I don't think they'll be in the rental market," the executive who has spoken to the Cubs told Stark. "So the value to them, with Hamels, is the three years [left on his contract]. This isn't just about selling out to go for the wild card. It's about getting ahead of [the free-agent ace market] this winter."
I think there might be some misleading phrasing going on. My guess is Cubs offered either Castro or Baez, but not both, for Hamels.Phillies would be stupid not to accept that. Well they're not enthralled with him. They don't like Baez? Sheesh.
Funny how that 41.5 K% during his brief stint in the bigs took some of the wind out of his prospect sails. They don't like Baez? Sheesh.
gallo was 43.9% and baez is less than a year older. gallo still a top 10 prospectGrahamburn said:Funny how that 41.5 K% during his brief stint in the bigs took some of the wind out of his prospect sails.Annyong said:They don't like Baez? Sheesh.
He's also hit a lot more dingers in the minors. I don't blame the Phillies for not liking Baez.gallo was 43.9% and baez is less than a year older. gallo still a top 10 prospectGrahamburn said:Funny how that 41.5 K% during his brief stint in the bigs took some of the wind out of his prospect sails.Annyong said:They don't like Baez? No hitter through six.Trade Baez for Hamels yesterday. Fine with me. Might as well get the guy before Saturday. He's set to pitch against the Cubs.
I'm sure it's just some kind of isolation bias, but it sure as Hell seems like the pitcher keeps coming up with 1st and 3rd, bases loaded, etc so much more often than Addison Russell starts a rally after the pitcher makes an inning ending out. They completely fell apart after blowing the first game. The offense looks horrible right now. But hey, they're batting the pitcher 8th, which is so neat!
You are, but it's warranted.I hope I'm being overly negative.
That experiment should be about over.I turned off the game after Soriano allowed that homer.

This doesn't bother me to much. quite a few great pitchers like to have their own personal caddy.Schwarber starting in left today. This David Ross personal catcher for Lester business can die any day now.
You ain't kidding. It pisses me off so much. This offense is horrible.Should just start calling them the Chicago LOBs.
If all his starts looked like that one I'd be fine with it.This doesn't bother me to much. quite a few great pitchers like to have their own personal caddy.Schwarber starting in left today. This David Ross personal catcher for Lester business can die any day now.
If it works, which it has, it's fine with me.
