He belongs in the bigs, but he isn't special yet. His defense is fine and the power is obvious against mediocre pitching, but he makes way too many easy outs right now. It took Bryce Harper two full seasons to figure it out too.They called him up too soon.I'm not impressed so far.Too bad this didn't go to extra innings, was really hoping to see Kris Bryant strike out two more times.
Once Kris, and Soler for that matter too, learn to start spitting on the junk outside the zone they'll be monsters. Easy to say of course. Some guys never figure that out.
Schwarber on the other hand. Super impressive. He has plenty of swing and miss to his game too, but he's making a ridiculous amount of hard contact.
