The more I look at this, the less serious it seems to me. It appears that the original accusation of forcible rape was recanted by the victim, so the rape accusation is gone. Statutory rape clearly does not apply because the girl is too old for that charge to apply, regardless of the age difference from Henry.
That leaves the charge of supplying them with alcohol. To that, I ask you, did you ever share a beer or a glass of wine with your parents before you were 21? As a former defense attorney, now attorney general, I am not aware of laws that create an exception for underage drinking with mom and dad. Many of your parents are probably guilty of that crime or a similar crime even though the circumstances are different. I don't think there's anything earth-shattering here, and we've seen far worse from a lot of players who did not suffer serious consequences.
