'Decision on RB looms Wednesday'
The Bengals have until Wednesday to make a roster move with Chris Perry.
Chances are the fourth-year running back, on the physically unable to perform (PUP) since September, will end up on the season-ending injured reserve list.
Perry is rehabilitating a seriously fractured ankle and lower leg injuries. Head coach Marvin Lewis said the team had no decision to announce Monday. Wednesday will be the 21-day deadline since Perry was allowed a roster exemption and began practicing.
But the relative health of the Bengals at running back would make rushing Perry back somewhat foolish at this point in the season. Despite his talent, he is not necessarily needed at this point, especially if Perry would risk further injury by coming back.
