Traded Randle for Dion Lewis this morning. Maybe I've spent too much time in this thread and buy into the hype too much. Hope you guys are right!

Like that trade for you.
+1. Even without cmike looming.
Thanks that makes me feel better. It's non ppr though, but sold high on Randle. I also picked up Cmike in a couple other leagues so I'm officially all in on this hype train now.

He's active, wonder how many carries. Think I'll avoid him and Randle and start Rawls tomorrow. Safer play ...I think.

Rotoworld:

Christine Michael is active for Week 4 against the Saints.

Michael saw some first-team practice reps this week and will make his Cowboys debut. There's been reports he could have a short-yardage role. Dallas should continue to go run-heavy with Brandon Weeden starting. The Cowboys inactives are QB Matt Cassel, OL La'el Collins, WR Dez Bryant, DE Randy Gregory, WR Lucky Whitehead, DE Ryan Russell and TE Geoff Swaim.

I don't have any idea how many carries he's going to get but I can't imagine he'll have much more than 5-6 touches at the most.

Agreed. If he gets any touches, they will be limited. I'm curious what the playbook has for him. Assuming the reports of it being a few special plays are accurate.

His best trait is his burst through the hole. He's not necessarily the best at making people miss on the second level. He runs a bit duck footed with his feet pointing outward and will sometimes lose his balance when making cuts in the secondary at full speed, but over the first 5-10 yards he is money. If they block for him at all tonight, expect to see him explode through those holes. Hopefully he will make Randle look like a chump in comparison.

Why would they activate him for a limited role? He doesn't play on special teams and they have other backs as injury insurance.

Obviously he will be involved. How much is question, but he could potentially lead the team in rushing yards tonight.

It will be very interesting to see what they do with him. I could see anywhere between 5-20 carries depending on how the game goes.

Oh he's going to stand out. One way or another.

I don't see that EBF unless they are super impressed with what he has showed in practice. I'd be shocked if he has more that 10 touches.

Crap, was hoping he'd stay inactive so I could plug in Randle and not worry about it. I need 9.9 in PPR for the win with Randle, Dunbar and Michael available to play. I have Randle in, but wondering about Dunbar with the mess.

In PPR, I'd go Dunbar for sure.

A small workload wouldn't surprise me either. The beat writers make it sound like the team doesn't trust him with the full playbook yet. If that's the case, there would seem to be a cap on what they'll do with him tonight. Even so, they obviously have some kind of plan in mind. You don't activate a non special teamer at a position where you already have three bodies unless you have plans to use him. He will get carries.

He always flashed when he got chances for the Seahawks. His burst is rare for a bigger back and should be noticeable tonight.

Let's just hope they block for him and he stays healthy. Would be perfect for this thread if he blasts through the line for 25 yards on his first carry and then pops his ACL as he's tackled.

I'm starting to think that. I doubt they trust Michael on passing downs and with Brees back I could see Dallas getting down. 9.9 for Randle is a TD or 80 yards and a couple receptions, but 9.9 for Dunbar is just half of last week, i.e. 5-50. Dunbar also seems due for a TD. Problem is if Randle doesn't get short yardage/a TD, I doubt he gets to 10 with Michael active. I just don't think Dallas is really good enough to get an early lead like last week. I think they caught Atlanta by surprise, but with no Dez and Romo they really didn't look good on O and that means more dump offs for Dunbar.

I guess I talked myself into it. Effing wrong kicker otherwise I'd win pretty easy with just a couple receptions. Just been a rough fantasy year. Let's go Dunbar for 10 and either Randle or Michael taking the bull by the horns.

The Saints are not a good football team at the moment. They've lost a lot of offensive talent over the last 1-2 years due to aging (Colston, Brees) and personnel moves (Graham, Sproles). They've added Cooks and Spiller and either of those guys could conceivably take over a game, so there's still potential for this to get ugly for Dallas. At the same time, this is an 0-3 team. IIRC they have more rookies than any team in the league. This is not the scary Saints team of recent years. They are not good.

Unfortunately, neither are the Cowboys without Dez and Romo. Williams is a fraud at WR. Beasley and Witten are probably not enough to carry the passing attack. Although I think Michael can make a positive impact, I could still see them struggling to move the ball again. They have not done a good job of building depth at WR and it shows now that Dez is out.

lol @ you are dead inside....lol wth? haha. Excited to see what Christine Michael can do with a chance behind the line. Hope it happens.

CMike would've had this game wrapped up by now.
This is getting very old people.
You are dead inside.

Can't you tell it was a joke?
He reacts this way to all of the jokes, which is getting old.
You mean I don't laugh at worn jokes? Yeah, I appreciate creativity a little more, that's all. But you're probably the guy who watches 2.5 men and laughs at that crap too.
