ATB said:I'm starting CJ with confidence. Kubiak wants to run the ball more than anything. CJ is the best back, hobbled or not.
Coming out party tonight.
that would be somethingI guess this will be a total meltdown in here when the Broncos bring monte ball back next week.
He's my dynasty flex RB3 and it was a choice between him and Sankey. I put him in last minute because I still don't trust Sankey, but that's likely to reverse itself or start going WR.Who is benching him? Who are you playing over him. The combination of his performance last week, the injury, the short week and the defense he is playing I am benching him for Abdullah.
I see speed and elusiveness. I've seen it since preseason. A gear CJ doesn't have. You seeing something else? He running through HOLES.De Nile.Every good run Hillman has is just good blocking. CJ is hobbled. Only reason he's not in.
Got him with 12th pick. Thought I got a good value. I have Hillman on my bench. FML...AgreedHe's a bust. I'd be pissed if I drafted him as my 1st overall when Forte was just sitting pretty.
In fairness, that was a big hole though. There's a good run by Anderson finally
ya he looked like he was hobbling through it. I think its gonna be a rough start for CJ this year... lots of low end flex results each week, but my hope is that he turns it around later on.In fairness, that was a big hole though. There's a good run by Anderson finally
The line stinks and KC is tough.I'm not saying Anderson looks better than Hillman tonight but does anyone else feel like Hillman's runs are getting blocks and Anderson is getting hit as he receives the ball...?
You know, has there been one pass to either RB? I've seen CJ out on the swing with tons of daylight, but they're not even considering that with either back.
Honestly both backs have only done something when there was a hole cleared. I think the jury is still out on this, want to see them play a weaker rush D.
Looks like the 3 of us are all on the same page. The line stinks and KC is tough.I'm not saying Anderson looks better than Hillman tonight but does anyone else feel like Hillman's runs are getting blocks and Anderson is getting hit as he receives the ball...?
Just almost random when either of them have a hole.
CJ has been wide open in the flat on several occasions, it is a bit odd. It's not like Peyton to avoid his RBs in the short passing game.
I agree. If Foster pans out I might be fine.At this point, I'm looking at this as if my 1st-round pick tore his ACL on the first play of the season. Can't dwell on it. Gotta adjust.
Seems to me that Hillman is not trusted to block for Peyton.Anyone have a track on snap count? May be misleading as the Broncos are mostly in passing sets where CJ is used more frequently as a blocker, but seems to me that Anderson has been in the game more than Hillman in running situations, esp. in the second half. Does Denver simply use different backs in different series?
He has no track record of success. It's possible that he just isn't that good. Why would it amaze you?The guy is hurt, on a short week, working in a new offense, and everyone is calling bust. Awesome! People never cease to amaze me.

Not so sure about this. I think if anything, it's the other way around. His situation is holding him back. Guy has always looked very talented since he came into the league. The real hype was more based on the situation than his talent. Peyton was still considered just a tier below the elite QB's so Anderson was supposed to get plenty of GL TD opportunities, plus Kubiak's zone blocking scheme and track record with RB's. It seemed like a prime situation for fantasy stardom.
Anderson himself isn't really a special talent(relative to other starting rb's). He runs hard and has decent vision.

This folks in what is a legit case of denial.I'm very surprised CJ isn't getting short dunk-offs. And yeah, the holes both backs are running through are just random. IMO, CJ is on the same level as Hillman even with his toe injury. Once he's fully healthy, he's an RB1 easy.
Love guys living in the past. Glory daysSomewhere Montee ball is wishing your analysis was correct. And they bring in some new guys up front.Ten days of rest now. Hopefully he stays off of his feet and the worst is behind us.![]()
Lol your taking this personal..HE'S OUT THERE ON THE MOST PIVOTAL DRIVE. He's the lead back regardless of nagging injury. Get over it.
I think that's the only discussion a bunch of CJ owners are having right now. :shrugs:Wait, everyone overreact and panic! Can't have [a] rationale discussion here IMO
That's just a straight-up troll comment. He's awful? He's injured. And these are 2 of the best defenses. Troll elsewhere.Lol your taking this personal..You do realize he's 12-29 and 12-27 he's awful. Regardless if he starts he's will always be sharing and the numbers from last year are a thing of the past.HE'S OUT THERE ON THE MOST PIVOTAL DRIVE. He's the lead back regardless of nagging injury. Get over it.
Hillman has out rushed him 2weeks straight. His value is and will remain very low.
I personally think Hillman is just a guy. Cj is the truth.
But, the team overall is giving me some concerns
I very much appreciate you posting this. I saw it two minutes before rosters locked.CJ is wearing a metal protector in his shoe ...told the sideline reporter he will give it a go...now im wondering how long he will last ...ugh
