He's my dynasty flex RB3 and it was a choice between him and Sankey. I put him in last minute because I still don't trust Sankey, but that's likely to reverse itself or start going WR.

 
I'm not saying Anderson looks better than Hillman tonight but does anyone else feel like Hillman's runs are getting blocks and Anderson is getting hit as he receives the ball...?

The line stinks and KC is tough.

Just almost random when either of them have a hole.

 
You know, has there been one pass to either RB? I've seen CJ out on the swing with tons of daylight, but they're not even considering that with either back.

Honestly both backs have only done something when there was a hole cleared. I think the jury is still out on this, want to see them play a weaker rush D.

 
I think both backs have looked pedestrian. They've gotten yards when it's there and gotten stuffed otherwise.

Compared to Charles, who is making something out of nothing several times tonight.

At this point, I'm looking at this as if my 1st-round pick tore his ACL on the first play of the season. Can't dwell on it. Gotta adjust.

 
Ya it is a combo of him, the offense and the team. Payton is not even looking at him in the pass game. Splitting carries. Not a good outlook for the season. Once again i should i shiuld have trustee myself that the adp was way too high. Oh well.

 
I'm very surprised CJ isn't getting short dunk-offs. And yeah, the holes both backs are running through are just random. IMO, CJ is on the same level as Hillman even with his toe injury. Once he's fully healthy, he's an RB1 easy.

 
The fact that they are still feeding him is promising. He's doing nothing, injured, on a short week, yet for some reason they keep bringing him back in. Seems to me that once he's healthy there's no way he slips to become the backup RB.

 
Anyone have a track on snap count? May be misleading as the Broncos are mostly in passing sets where CJ is used more frequently as a blocker, but seems to me that Anderson has been in the game more than Hillman in running situations, esp. in the second half. Does Denver simply use different backs in different series?

Seems to me that Hillman is not trusted to block for Peyton.

 
The real hype was more based on the situation than his talent. Peyton was still considered just a tier below the elite QB's so Anderson was supposed to get plenty of GL TD opportunities, plus Kubiak's zone blocking scheme and track record with RB's. It seemed like a prime situation for fantasy stardom.

Anderson himself isn't really a special talent(relative to other starting rb's). He runs hard and has decent vision.

Not so sure about this. I think if anything, it's the other way around. His situation is holding him back. Guy has always looked very talented since he came into the league.

 
HE'S OUT THERE ON THE MOST PIVOTAL DRIVE. He's the lead back regardless of nagging injury. Get over it.

Clearly the only valuable Denver RB's every year are the ones buried on the depth chart and not drafted in rds 1 and 2.

looking at the box score it would appear hillman was the better back. watching the game, you have to give hillman a slight edge.... but lets not kid ourselves here. hillman got most of his yardage on one play... a toss play where there was no defenders in front of him. CJ got most of his yardage on two runs..... the rest of the 20 carries were doomed from the start because their terrible o-line played terrible.

i don't see this alternating drives going away any time soon as long as both backs are healthy.

You do realize he's 12-29 and 12-27 he's awful. Regardless if he starts he's will always be sharing and the numbers from last year are a thing of the past.

Hillman has out rushed him 2weeks straight. His value is and will remain very low.

In all seriousness, he's a good back. Not a RB1 but for anything else than team and QB situation, though, and now that the O-Line is suspect, we're seeing a bit of pedestrian tendencies from both backs.

That's just a straight-up troll comment. He's awful? He's injured. And these are 2 of the best defenses. Troll elsewhere.

Painfully obvious this is an O-line problem. Both backs looked the same - and nothing much they could do.
