I think the problem is with CJ Anderson, is many people are still a bit "burned" by him in the past couple of seasons, that you can't effectively get what he is actually worth right now.
I know its only entering week 3 of the season, but he is looking more and more like one of the few "elite bellcows" in the league. There simply isn't much reason to think he is not a top 5 fantasy football RB at this point. Workload is the main reason, obviously.
His first weeks #s, may be a bit of a red flag for potential "buyers" when trying to get a trade done, but the smarter owners look at the carry load, of course.
That aside, who could you realistically get for CJ, that you would really want to "accept" at this point??? This is a serious question, think about it.
The workload he is getting, Siemian looking more and more proficient... I don't know who I would take for him right now, that I would actually pull the trigger on.
He is getting a bigger workload than Gurley.
(And would you really take Gurley for him???) Thats a tough one. TY Montgomery is a possibility, but then again that has its concerns as well.(can he hold up to a big workload)
Maybe a few of us would take Devonta Freeman for him, I can see going that route.... but if you could actually get that deal is another question.
You almost certainly can't get Hunt from a swooning owner, and I don't think anyone is exactly offering up LeVeon Bell for him.
Point is - I don't see moving him currently....at least not with what you or I can currently get.
I actually
benched CJ this past week, in one league and played Terrance West over him. (I thought with matchup + the loss of Woodhead made it a fair play)
That won't be happening again.

I would have lost anyway, but I don't know if CJ is benchable at this point. You would have to have 2 other unreal choices + good matchups to consider benching him.
Just looked over his late season fantasy schedule.
WEEK 14 - vs. The Jets
WEEK 15 - @ Indy
WEEK 16 - @ Washington
The Jets will be in full give up mode in week 14. (CJ could be a week 1 playoff monster for some of us)
Week 15 @ Indy doesn't look too bad now either, but that team could be totally different when Luck returns.
Who knows what Washington will be come week 16.
Regardless, if CJ can stay healthy he has the potential to be one Hell of a play in the fantasy playoffs.......especially weeks 14-15.
