COMMISH HELP: Online claim issue on AOL (1 Viewer)

The Jerk

Footballguy
One of my owners is telling me that only two of his three claim lists were retained and processed by AOL FF League Manager. I guess this can happen, but I'm guessing human error is at least as likely to be the cause.

My question to all of you is has anyone else had one of their player claim lists "disappear" when using AOL FF League Manager or FF Commissioner at fanball.com (as AOL is based on the fanball engine)?

I don't think there's anything I can do, but moving forward I want to move the league to the pay site (fanball) if this is something that could happen again.

Thanks for helping me out with feedback.

In the league I commish, AOL managed to poop-can all three of my claim lists for week 2. I had no problem in week 3. Not much you can do about it.

I had somebody claim (no pun intended) that their claims were lost, it worked out in the end, they got who they wanted anyway.

I believed it was user error.

You can check the claim results somewhere, it should tell you if it even tried to process them.

Until Tuesday of last week, some of the claims functions were not enabled. When AOL turned them on, I think there was a simultaneous purge/reset of claim lists. I happened to notice when I checked on my own bids (again, this was last Tuesday) that all four of my claim lists were showing up in the 'all claims from previous weeks' table. I contacted the rest of my league and warned them of the issue, those that had submitted claims early like myself also said they had been reset.

Anyway, since this issue, our claims process has worked fine. If your problem occurred last week, I might give the guy the benefit of the doubt; but would be more likely to agree it was human error if the problem arose this week.
