Definitely not. They're a good team, but they will have quite a few two game losing streaks. It is annoying to watch though.

I can't believe people listen to sports radio. I like the Times guys in the morning, but that seems like just listening to a show featuring local beat writers. The hosts who just yell and scream and say dumb #### to get the yokels fired up....yikes.

 
I'm so sick of people #####ing about the attendance. I watch the Rays every night and live in Lakeland. You know how long it would take me to get to the Trop during rush hour? 3+ hours. I can't even get there by game time on weekdays. Sorry, I'll go on a few weekends.

It's not my fault they decided to put the stadium in the most difficult place to get to in the entire Bay area.

Mohr was just saying the attendance sucked and Duemig took offense to that, as if it's not true.

Big Dog is an egotistical a5s but its kind of funny when he gets pissed off with people that disagree with him. I sometimes wonder if its schtick, like how much he hated Gruden, but I don't think he's that clever. I change the channel around, but like local talk because of the coverage of local sports.

I hear you on the weekday issue. I don't think the majority of the 8am-5pm working population have much interest in going to weekday games. I think attendance would definitely increase if the stadium was in Tampa, but don't forget how empty the Bucs stadium has looked the past decade. The economy has nailed Tampa, and people down here don't have as much discretionary money as people in other markets. Also, the drive sucks, and you can't drink & drive. If the amount of alcohol advertising in sports is indicative of the number of fans that drink, then its a good portion of them. Those people would likely rather watch it at home or at a neighborhood bar.

I personally am not a big baseball fan, but every year I say I am going to try and watch more games. Having Google Now on my cell has been great for reminding me when hockey or baseball games are on & keeping me informed about results.

Phenomenal. That change up really took for him. Looked like a young Shields or Cobb.

Even if they trade Price at some point, they can still trot Cobb/Moore/Archer/Odorozzi out there till 2019 (I guess Cobb would be a UFA the year before, but still). Incredible depth.

 
Bedard should be ok. If he gets blown up, they'll move Ramos up.

Honestly, Ramos probably isn't a whole lot worse than Moore is at this point (I think MM will end up being very good, but he's not now). MM is walking a tight rope every game.

 
I had pretty high hopes for this team.

I'm not trying to over react, but... I'm not sure any more.

Meh. They're 5-5. Before the last two games the offense was getting a lot of guys on base but not getting the big hit. That kind of stuff is just bad luck. And at least nobody else in the East has started hot. But they're not always a lot of fun to watch.

Assuming they are in the race, I think there is 0 chance he gets moved. That's not their style. They'd do it in the offseason.

@TBTimes_Rays: MRI on #Rays Cobb showed oblique strain, which is not good. No timetable set, and he feels good, tho typically those are like 6-8 weeks.

And then...? Do they put Ramos back out there? Or give Bedard a chance at starting after looking shaky in the spring and in relief?

Or do they bring up Karns or Romero and give them a shot? Both of them had issues in their first start, but looked decent in their last one.

I think Karns went yesterday, so he would be on normal rest to replace Ramos.

It would be great if Colome was available, but neigh.

The bullpen needs to tighten it up, or this could get really ugly.
