HOU is terrible vs the pass, allowing something like 3rd most FF point vs WR's (correct?).

No Gates.

No Floyd.

No Buster Davis.

Rivers, top passing and FF scoring QB.

The other two WR's are now Ajirotutu and Gary Banks.

I realize there's some talk about Ajirotutu, but is this not a perfect storm for Crayton for just one week at least?

I wouldn't count out Gates, and if he plays, it will basically be the same lineup as last week where Crayton had 4/46.That said there is a SLIGHT difference between the Texans and the Titans and Crayton will have every opportunity to have a nice game.

Crayton seems to be purely a possession WR nowadays, no big plays or TDs. He should get 5-7 catches, but I think his TD chances are only about 25%. Think Davone Bess numbers.

If Gates is out & the D has to key on Crayton, that could spell a 2 for 21 type of day.

I own Crayton, but I have about 4 other guys I'd rather start.

Sproles - I think Sproles could have 10 receptions this week.Ajirotutu will be worth a spot start for teams desperate for WR. Could roll the dice with Kris Wilson or Randy McMichael if you're desperate for a TE.

Why? What's he ever done to merit such coverage? I figure if Gates is really not playing it'll allow Houston to play their base D and adjust as the game goes on.

No, keep in mind its Patrick Crayton we are talking about here... No need to double and triple cover what is essentially a possession receiver, and a mediocre one at that. I am a little worried for Rivers though, at some point his magic has to run out with these receivers.

As a Gates/Crayton owner I at least hope a resting Gates = a better Crayton to offset the loss of points.
