** Dallas Cowboys** 2019, you sucked (1 Viewer)

Looked great last week, what we wish they were. Have my doubts they can duplicate that performance 2 weeks in a row.

My big hope is that Dak has played Philly well throughout his career.

Tyron has something wrong with his eye, no practice today

Martin and Collins limited

MRI on Daks shoulder today. Came back clean but didn’t throw today for the first time in his career

LBs Lee, Thomas, Vander Esch DNP, Gifford to IR

Jourdan Lewis limited

Bennett DNP

We have no chance against the vaunted Eagles this week

:kicksrock:

For the first time I can remember I’m glad the season is over.

Not even disappointed, it’s just rooting for this team is tiresome

Burn this #### down
Final nail in Garrett's coffin, that's all that matters. Don't burn it down, there is good talent.

Great effort.  That alone should get garrett 3 more years.  What a strategist and warrior.   I mean hes a gift to cowboys nation.  An inspiration!

Dak missed like 5 wide open throws too. Makes me feel good about Kellen at least that the guys were so open.
Guys were so open because the Eagles suck

Which makes it even funnier that the guys that gave up on their team 6 weeks ago are now chirping the loudest

The entire division is a giant ball of suck

The right management and coaching could turn them around in one year.  Seems unlikely they will get it, but they have a lot of pieces.

i'll give some credit here, Jaylen Smith is very good at.....talking. Dude loves the pre-game jumping around and all game he loves to say something. Maybe that is good for something

and you guys have 3 OL going to the Pro Bowl? I'll be the first to say that Fletcher Cox does not deserve the Pro Bowl this year (of course he did deserve a few times he was missed before), but seems a little excessive to send 3 of your guys like that

fitting end
Except it is not quite the end.  They need to finish next week.  The Eagles are fully capable of getting trapped in their game.  What's that I hear, that beeping, could it be the back up warning signal on the Cowboys semi.  Are the backing up and if so where, into the playoffs?

I don't think that's true, but maybe I'm the weird one. There's a point at which I have enough money to do whatever I want. That point is shy of what Riley already makes, lol.
I think that is the number (12 million per) being thrown around when people talk about what its going to take for Urban or Riley to make the jump.  That is generational type money and I cannot see anyone turn that down to stand in college.

I am a week early on the end.  But this team just can't put it to other. Rams game will remain a mystery and a dream of what they could be.

It really depends. As an example, following Nick Saban at Alabama is not a job I would want. The act is impossible to follow and life will be hell regardless of the money. Following Jason Garrett is a completely different story. I’d do that in a heartbeat. Unlimited resources, great stadium and facilities. You have a meddling owner but one could argue that’s better than a meddling booster club.

Some college gigs are just too good. Especially if you have a reputation and great recruiters on your staff.  Coach K at Duke. Why ever leave that? Saban. Dabo. They are Gods in their states and they can control their success with recruiting vs a draft.

The difference is if you are a good recruiter and you go to a school like Alabama you can out-recruit pretty much everyone else based on history, even if you're following up Saban.....college football is all about recruiting, and the blue blood schools essentially recruit themselves, unless you suck like Helton at usc.

NFL is all about drafting wisely, and working within the salary cap to set yourself up to make a run......the talent is MUCH more spread out based on the draft......a meddling owner like Jerry Jones, who is also the GM gets the last say on personnel moves....he desperately wants to get credit for being the reason the Cowboys succeed.......until he is no longer the GM, I believe the Cowboys job is a treadmill to mediocrity.

So Jerry is waiting to fire Garrett until the Cowboys are officially eliminated? And if by some strange twist, they survive and make the Playoffs, immediately after the loss whenever that comes.

Was Dak's inaccuracy Sunday due to the shoulder injury? Or does he normally have games he's just off like that.  Usually he's on point vs the Eagles.

Does Jerry Jones pay ESPN to talk about his team because they are wasting way too much time on those ham & eggers and why is Rex 'ima loser' Ryan giving opinions about others ### far as begin an HC?

He technically doesn't even need to fire Garrett. After today's game, assuming the Eagles win, he can simply let Garrett walk away and sign with whomever he wants.

It’s because fans of other teams can’t get enough of the Cowboys as evidence by much of your posting.

Are you referring to my 3 posts in this thread? :lmao:  This team stinks, Dak stinks, the OL is already starting to fade and it was a big part in their mediocre success in previous seasons.

Jerry, pay the man.
