Daughter covered Ed Sheeran (Rap) (1 Viewer)

I really thought coming out of HS she would go the Theater route. She was in every musical and had either a lead or major role. But she chose Commercial Music.
Kinda tough, especially since - tho she writes, right? - she hasn't really found that thing she's got to get across to the wholewideworld or she'll die, y'know. Band, show, id (psychologically speaking) - can't make your own luck without one of those.

Sounds good, love that song, too.

Where was this at? I know you've mentioned before she's in Nashville, is that Paradise Park?
I'm not sure, I'll ask her. It's a monthly thing called Loud Jams. First Monday of each month musicians get together and jam. Some big names show up too, she got to jam with Chris Daughtry, some guys from Skid Row and a few others too...

As a subscriber I got the notification before I saw the thread. YouTube hipster that I am. I always enjoy her work. I will say however I don't think that's her best genre to work in. Or at least that style in the genre. I just think the bluesy/jazzy music fits her better.

Totally agree 100% and so does she. This is a "free for all" style where people just get together and jam. Chris Daughtry was there a few months ago and did a U2 song. It's somewhat scripted as the songs are picked out ahead of time, but musicians and singers are just basically thrown together and have fun. But Bluesy-Jazzy is definitely her genre. She viewed this as a challenge and workde for two plus weeks on it.

Thanks for the kind words my friend.

Always good to challenge yourself. And kind words are easy when they are deserved.
