Has anybody brought up the fact that the college players from Miami, though very talented, are still kids? You don't think that a young McGahee would be intimated as hell with a Ray Lewis jawwing at him? Talent or not, a great player is only as good as the mental outlook he has. It'll never happen, but if a Miami vs. any NFL game were to happen, each of those kids would be ******** bricks before the game while the pros would be smacking their chops. Some, with enough attitude may be able to overcome it like say a young Shockey. He may not let it affect them as much as others, but most would be tentative at best. Compare this to each NFLer who would be salivating at the prospect of hitting some young punk.Perhaps it's because I am a coach who believes in the merits of mental training in sports. But I think this is a no-brainer, not because of insufficient talent, but because each of those kids would be outmatched mentally. They simply wouldn't have the maturity. Confidence can do wonders, we've all seen it and talent or no, without it you are simply starting off behind before the game even starts.I would venture as far as to say the Miami Hurricanes would not even beat any CFL team, let alone NFL team.
