You guys problaby do not remember this but way back when...........a female tennis player beat a male tennis player, and back then they said it could'nt happen. :bag:
I love it when people bring this statement up. If the rules had been the same for the male and the female the results would have been different. Does anybody here know what handicap Riggs had to play under as opposed to King? Check it out and then tell me this was "The Battle of the Sexes"

The biggest handicap was Riggs had to play King and King only had to play Riggs. Definitely unfair.

I thought this was swept under the rug by now . . .
It likes a bad dream you keep having. It will never go away. It will follow you season to season and eventually lead to you to seek professional help. Zoloft is my guess.

They started me on Paxil . . . then Wellbutron . . . then Zoloft . . . then Prozac . . . nothing seems to help!

Last thing I want to do is get swept up into this mess, But you almost have to wonder out loud if the Dolphins are even the best team in Miami. :excited:

I think the Heat could take them

Has anybody brought up the fact that the college players from Miami, though very talented, are still kids? You don't think that a young McGahee would be intimated as hell with a Ray Lewis jawwing at him? Talent or not, a great player is only as good as the mental outlook he has. It'll never happen, but if a Miami vs. any NFL game were to happen, each of those kids would be ******** bricks before the game while the pros would be smacking their chops. Some, with enough attitude may be able to overcome it like say a young Shockey. He may not let it affect them as much as others, but most would be tentative at best. Compare this to each NFLer who would be salivating at the prospect of hitting some young punk.Perhaps it's because I am a coach who believes in the merits of mental training in sports. But I think this is a no-brainer, not because of insufficient talent, but because each of those kids would be outmatched mentally. They simply wouldn't have the maturity. Confidence can do wonders, we've all seen it and talent or no, without it you are simply starting off behind before the game even starts.I would venture as far as to say the Miami Hurricanes would not even beat any CFL team, let alone NFL team.
