Awesome 25 yard TD. I hope Otah isn't hurt badly. We don't have much depth on the OL.Check out the highlites tonite on his TD. Looks like Barry Sanders was reincarnated with power and Freeney's spin move.
Everyone that invested a high pick in Williams hopes the same thing. Otah is an earth mover.I hope Otah isn't hurt badly.

Yeah, well, you know, Stewart has FREAKISH talent.Yet still there will be people who doubt his talent. So true.
Most of the duke fans around here are Cowboy, Yankee, and Notre Dame fans.amazing run. DeAngleo is being treated just like the way Priest was after his first huge year. There were still people who doubted. Not sure why. And I wish most of the guys posting in this thread (Omally and Bass-N-Brew) liked Dallas instead of the Panthers. It would just be a lot easier to carry over from football to basketball season.![]()
I think Pennington is a good fit in the Miami offense. He doesn't have the strongest arm, but he hits his receivers right on the numbers.Pennington should keep his job.

Got him at the 11 spot today.I'm glad that people are overlooking him. Nabbing him in all my drafts at the end of round 1.

I snared him at the 2.08 in Ultimate Survivor and at the 2.05 in the FIX Redraft with all FBG including 2 prominent staffers...I own him in Dynasty, the best part of being a DeAngelo fan is that its still easy to lock him up. Did Stewart even play tonight? No, and not getting reps he is just going to be ready to go week 1? I'm not doubting Stewart and his unique abilities...in many ways he is a perfect compliment to DWill but enough of this idea that DWill can't be top5 again this year because he can and Carolina won't be blowing teams out and running the ball out in the 4th quarter that often this year. I expect DWill to be the guy on the field when they are in tight games and especially when the games count most in the 4th quarter. You should be in jail. :XGot him at the 11 spot today.I'm glad that people are overlooking him. Just like Priest, having a road-grader OLine has nothing to do with William's success. You know, the one that finally gelled mid-season last year and coincided with Williams blowing it up.amazing run. DeAngleo is being treated just like the way Priest was after his first huge year. (Rotoworld) Panthers LB Jon Beason left Saturday's game with a knee injury and is considered doubtful to return.
These posts are good to see. It feels like only yesterday in the Fix redraft last year that I snagged Dwill and you were doing "cartwheels" that you snagged Stewy... just bustin ballz... You are 100% right on DWill this year, I just couldn't pass up Forte/Calvin in this year's FIX.I snared him at the 2.08 in Ultimate Survivor and at the 2.05 in the FIX Redraft with all FBG including 2 prominent staffers...I own him in Dynasty, the best part of being a DeAngelo fan is that its still easy to lock him up. no question. That O-line may be the best Line in the league for run-blocking ability.I bet I could get 1000 yards running behind that line and I barely have any talent.puckalicious said:Just like Priest, having a road-grader OLine has nothing to do with William's success. Last night when Williams broke off that 25 yard TD run, Otah was not in the game.puckalicious said:Just like Priest, having a road-grader OLine has nothing to do with William's success. And he broke about 5 tackles, 3 of which were guys who had him dead in the water. That's impossible. All you hear from Stewart lovers and Williams haters is that Williams does not break tackles. You must be mistaken and it must have been Stewart that you saw.And he broke about 5 tackles, 3 of which were guys who had him dead in the water. Wait a minute, remind me again... was that a preseason game, or a real game? I'm not denying his talent, I'm just not necesarily expecting a repeat of last year unless the OL steps it up even more against a tougher schedule this year. And Stewart stays limited all season. And Goodson is not as good as advertised. And Smith doesn't get tackled an inordinate number of times at the 1 yard line. That being said, I'm still considering him at #6.That's impossible. All you hear from Stewart lovers and Williams haters is that Williams does not break tackles. Yeah that was a nice run, but could you imagine if an elite talent like Stewart had been running there? He would have made sure all 11 guys on defense had grabbed him before breaking free and going for the td.
Thanks for the link - WHAT a RUN it was!

Jason Ferguson was all over him, it wasn't bad tackling. Jason Taylor was in the vicinity as well...since it was Ferguson and Taylor I'll vote good run.Good run or just bad tackling?
Agreed, I have him on a dynasty league I don't want him making special runs in the pre-season, wait until he really wants it during the season.Jason Ferguson was all over him, it wasn't bad tackling.
