It may be one preseason game, however you can watch the game and see with your own eyes who is getting open and who has the best timing with manning

They will end up similar, 1A and 1B, both solid Wr2s. SF is still a good defense and Manning is good at taking what he can get, he doesn't force it. Both will have big games, both will have disappointing games. Owners of both will pat themselves on the back one week, and the sky is falling the next.

I'm not saying Decker isn't his favorite target I just know what you see in preseason games usually is not the case when the regular season starts. I think both guys are going to have great seasons.

Oh I know. I just think Decker will have the great season and Thomas will do a Hayward bey- ish performance

Thomas is a much better WR, but Manning has made some really pedestrian guys look good and Decker's not horrible - so who knows?

Dynasty I'd much rather have Thomas though.
I would disagree with this, depending on what you meant. Decker is a much more polished route runner and currently has a greater ability to diagnose defenses to stay on the same page with Manning. If you are referring to raw athletic talent, Thomas beats him there easily. Thomas beats most WR's in the athletic/physical arena though and is still very much in the development phase. IF he can take the next step and become a solid route runner and read defenses consistently, he will become Denver's #1 WR.

what if they score exactly the same number that would blow your mind and you would probably end up moving to tibet and finding a guru on a mountain to ask him the meaning of this and at the end of the day you would climb up there and ask him sensay what is the meaning of decker and demarious catchin the same number of tds and then he would say he does not even know what fantasy football is becuase he is a monk who lives on a mountain in tibet and they do not have tv and also he ponders things like the meaning of life and mysteries of the universe but then he would end talking to you by saying now take it to the bank brohan and you would walk away thinking that sensay is not really the old swcer and you would never find out the answer and then instead of wondering who would score more points you would always wonder if swc was a sensay instead bam

Manning needs to stay healthy or both their values drop significantly. This is the guy with the fused neck who was thought to never play again. One wrong hit and he's done, hopefully not paralyzed.

not really - if you have followed Broncos training camp you would know that Decker has been Manning's favorite target-
This isn't true. I've heard conflicting reports. I'm in the boat that thinks both will have really good seasons, but if was going to look to trade for one, it would be Thomas.

Thomas. He's the deep threat and will get the TD's.
Okay, but Manning doesn't throw deep like he used to (not that he ever threw deep that often), and considering how good Peyton is in the red zone, I think Decker is likely to be the more targeted WR in that area. Thomas could be the "turn a short catch into a long play" guy, but I think Decker gets more targets and catches.

Demaryius is more talented and I'm convinced, would approach league leaders in receiving if he had an arm at the helm. Decker will outscore him though in PPR if Peyton dinks and dunks all year. TBD

FYI, Decker and Thomas ran nearly identical 40 times- 4.52 vs. 4.54. Decker is only "slow" in terms of his skin color, which evidently slows all white WRs down in the eyes of fans. Decker in fact plays even faster, as evidenced by his 90 yard TD punt return and multiple long receptions last season. When you throw in the fact he could have had many more long grabs, because he was always open but Tebow missed him, you should understand how much of a big play guy he really is.

There is absolutely no logical reason for people to stomp their feet and claim Thomas has "more talent" or that ridiculous, undefinable term "athleticism." Decker has shown he has a great rapport with Manning and I expect him to put up huge numbers. Take advantage of the few white WRs who get playing time- they are always undervalued and can be had at great bargains.

Very well said. Based on your post count, you should be posting more.

I agree, Decker came out of Indiana as the fastest WR in the B10. The guy has just as much talent as Thomas. Both are in for a great year.

He took a pretty good hit yesterday and got right back up. At this point his chances of getting hurt are just as good as any body elses.

Indiana?

Well it looks like the negatives on thomas (poor route running, decker mannings favored target) eating Ito his production this season might have been a bit overblown. He is now a immovable object in my lineup moving forward. What a beast.
