@TroyRenck: Somewhere Tim Tebow saw that TD pass and is smiling
...as he continued bagging the pretty lady's groceries.
Dude gets a $100,000 a speaking engagement and he always has engagements.
Says more about how dumb some people are and less about how good a QB he is.
I think PDP is simply trying to point out that Tebow is still successful outside of football and is not bagging groceries.
Then commenting about him hypothetically laughing about a football play is pretty silly.

Peyton has thrown ducks his entire career, can we stop acting like this is new. He is 37 so his arm is weaker now than it was 4 years ago. People watch some football and not just prime time games.
I was laughed out of the building for saying he's always thrown ducks, during his 7 TD game. It's like people never watch him, which is impossible. Its looking worse right now, of course. But not by as much as people are saying.

lol, I wasn't saying it did say anything about his QB skill. Just saying he isn't going to be working at Publix anytime soon.
:lmao:

I know what the pistol is and what it looks like. Has Manning been running the pistol tonight? 1 play? These are shotgun formations even with one guy flanked on both sides of him in the backfield.

I can't remember exactly what year but remember when Indy trailed TB by like 21 or something in the 4th quarter and Peyton came back to win that game to stay unbeaten this game has same feel of it.

I would figure him more of a Wal-Mart guy anyway.

Didn't Tampa win the Super Bowl that year?

In all fairness the Colts don't have anyone as dumb as Keyshawn Johnson

The best part of these threads is where people trash talk assuming the game is over, and then it all turns around.

I can't believe people have not learned their lesson by now. But they keep doing it.

Shotgun last couple of plays here, and before that, this is not the pistol.
They run both. They just generally make a point to point out the Pistol looks in the broadcast because it's still fairly new to the NFL, whereas people don't need to be told very often what the Shotgun formation is.

I think you're nuts. While it's true that Peyton has always thrown a few ducks, they usually are on touch type passes, and he's always been able to mix in a few bullets here and there when needed. EVen earlier this year, he was firing some reasonably hard passes at times, even if not the same as 5 years ago.

Tonight is MUCH worse. ZERO bullet passes, and MANY MORE duck like passes...including on passes that should be bulletts instead of touch passes.

If this was true him and Ryan Leaf would have more in common then just being drafted in the same year.
Go watch some youtube. It's called reading def's and anticipation, those are things that make great QB's.

Sounds like you might be his coworker then.

Had denver kicked the extra point, they could give up a field goal here and it would still be a 1 score game. Now a field goal makes it a 2 score game. Oops!

Yes, they don't run it very often. Like I said, they just point that kind of stuff out to have something to say. No one needs to be told what the Shotgun is. The announcers just point out when different looks are given.

MNF game, TB was penalized for leaping and that also helped. Was a really bad night for the Bucs and kind of started a downward trend they have not recovered from since.

So, you're counting on them missing the 2 point conversion then, but making it later...

This is the part of the movie when Peyton tells Fox to #### off and checks on Wayne after switching jerseys and wins the SB with the Colts.
