I bet we see more screens and a heavy dose of Welker in the second half.Seems like Denver is attempting way too many deep passes into double coverage. It's just not their style as they've been so good at intermediate routes and YAC.
"Speaking of the debt ceiling, US personal household debt is at record highs. This is not only bad for families but can be an issue for the economy...."Wonder what Bob Costas will lecture us about tonight.
As i understand it, it definitely sapped his arm strength in his last year in Indy. The first six games of this year he seemed to have his old zip. I believe if there is any degree of spinal compression, you'll get an accompanying degree of limited feel/strength. It may be effectively a "stinger" and he'll be fine after some treatment, but I doubt it for the rest of this game. Going forward, who knows, but it just shows he's always, as much as any top tier guy, one hit away.Does his neck have a huge effect on his arm strength though? It could hurt his ability see the entire field if it stiffens up and force him to throw the ball quicker than he wants to if he's afraid of getting hit up high again, but I'm not sure how much of an effect it has on his zip on the ball. I could be way off though. No he got drilled in the neck on that sack...It's been like that for awhile, he makes up for it with his incredible football IQ, preparation, touch passes and adjustments.Manning's arm looks dead... I wonder if thats why he's been game managing and handing off all night?

Might be time to sell high on all the Denver guys apart from Demariyus who's not exactly high right now.

http://www.nfl.com/contact-usI don't like the rule, you are FORCED to give the ball up. I think it should count as a turnover for the last person that touched the ball whether it was a receiver, running back or quarterback.NOBODY RECOVERED THE FUMBLE. Pretty simple. How do you credit a defense with a fumble recovery they never recovered? HOw do you charge an offensive player with a "lost fumble" if nobody recovered it?They were forced to punt though, not a choice like on fourth down. I just disagree with the rule.Technically...they did NOT lose possession of the ball. Did you not notice they punted on the very next snap?If your team lost possession of the ball isn't it a lost fumble?Nobody technically recovered it for it to be considered a lost fumble.Any other news here? Why wouldn't that be a fumble? Let's pretend I don't have a vested interest here.Yahoo claims that Peyton's fumble was recovered by Denver for a safety. I guess a fumble out of the end zone is not considered a fumble lost?
Sucks from a fantasy perspective.![]()
This play was the same thing as if the snap sailed over Manning's head and out of the end zone.

I'd be worried if he wasn't erect in the pocket. It's just feels so natural, so right to be erect in there. He's still erect in the pocket thoughHe does have very wobbly balls.

Come on man, don't bring FFA stuff in here, this is the football forum. Out of bounds with your comment.Chump.Who is out the rest of the game?
They seem to be getting good pressure with just 4 guys and their DB's are covering really wellWhat is IND doing that's giving Peyton this much trouble?

No just overrated.Is Richardson hurt?
As would any Denver RB since they don't really have a workhorse back that can make multiple defenders miss carrying the rock 15+ times a game. I know people will say Hillman, but he's a COP back IMO.Moreno turns back into a pumpkin once the passing game isn't working.

As long as they call it evenly. Every game has it's thresholds for fair and foul. If the DBs on one team are being given leeway, then the other team needs to adjust, both the WRs and the DBs.jah77 said:Okay I guess not. Collinsworth making excuses and saying it's Denvers fault that the Colts are playing "graby" and they should just get over it.jah77 said:Hopefully in the 2nd half the refs stop letting the Colts D mug Denvers WR's
I think you're right now that I think about it....I think Manning's struggled since a Dallas defender grabbed his facemask and jerked his head, if you want to go back to a neck issue this season. The play-calling following that penalty changed a lot.
