Detroit at Green Bay (1 Viewer)

That was actually impressive how fast one unit came off and the FG unit came on to get lined up and make that kick.

Will take that tbh, 14-7 would have been a bit of a kick in the teeth right at the end, plus ball back 2nd half

Agree - awesome field goal

The time to sell high on Aaron Jones is over. This guy can't pass protect and considering the Pack have a weak D and are not built for power running they won't find themselves in a lot of games where he gets 15 carries per game. Ty Montgomery is the Duke Johnson of this offense now and may actually put up better numbers here on out.

That field goal attempt was awesome. Fox and the Bears would've been walking to the locker room. No use in trying

McCarthy is calling this game scared.  Best thing for the Packers may be falling behind 21-3 so Mike has to see what Hundley can do running the actual offense, not this 1940's version he has implemented for tonight's game.

Of Brett Hundley's 18 passes, 13 were thrown 5 or fewer yards downfield -- including eight thrown at or behind the line of scrimmage.

Ain't gonna win that way. If you don't trust Hundley to throw the ball then what is he doing in there? McCarthy needs to open it up. At least die trying

Capers is still there.  And he’s truly garbage.
I've been reluctant to put this all on Capers. But at this point, they need to move on. We can have the debate about talent on D, though I happen to think it has improved.

Capers has been the constant, and they just aren't doing anything on that side of the ball. Something's gotta give.

I read an article about how the league has pretty much passed the caper defense by. I’ll see if I can dig it up.

It's funny to me how much Hundley moves like Rodgers...minus the accuracy, decision making, etc. I am not familiar with how Hundley looked in college but he sure looks like he is trying to mimic AR.

Agreed...and i hate to say this too...but when is it time to move on from Clay?  Will post more about that in the team thread.

And what an awful 4th down play call.  Stupid

From the JS Game blog just now;

They're better off going with Callahan at this point.

There's nothing he can hang his hat on with Hundley. We haven't seen anything he can do consistently.

McCarthy really has no idea what he wants to do with Hundley and I think it's because Hundley can't play.

Detroit has all the tools to be a very good team in this league. They were awful against New Orleans and they had some bad breaks against the Steelers. But I think if they can just put it all together and get to the playoffs they could be a tough out.

Well, they have pretty good QB. That always helps.

That 4th down play is what 3 years with a QB you realize isn’t any good looks like.

Crabtree nailed it here

These Christmas car commercials are stupid. I'd kill my wife if she secretly bought a car for Christmas
