***Divisional Round Game Thread*** Green Bay at Atlanta (1 Viewer)

Huh, used to live in Wisky and still know a lot of Packer fans. Didn't brag or anything after the Falcons win this year. Now I have 11 messages in my inbox, 5 from people I probably haven't heard from since last March for my March Madness pool. Feel bad for my brother who goes to Wisconsin, probably going to get hit hard with a lot of tools trash talking him.

congrats packers fans. team looks really tough.

nothing to feel bad about falcons fans. team had a great season and is getting better by the year it seems.

28pt second quarter destroyed the Falcons

Really don't believe it. I thought the packers would win, thought they could lose, but never thought it would be domination.

NY Giants, Chicago, Philly, Atlanta.

GB has just run the gauntlet of NFC power and came out on top. No other team is as playoff tested this year as the Packers.

I feel for the Falcons because I know they are better than what we saw today. The Packers were just in unstoppable mode.

Damn nice birthday gift from the Pack today!

What a beatdown. I picked the Packers to win this game, but I didn't think it would be this ugly. If the Packers keep playing like this, they will be hard for anyone to beat. When you consider that the Patriots barely beat them at home with Rodgers not even playing, the Packers might actually be the favorite now to win it all.

Agreed. The Packers have something special going, and now they believe they can do it. That's dangerous.

Packers scoring drives

13 plays, 81 yards

10 plays, 92 yards

7 plays, 80 yards

12 plays, 80 yards

8 plays, 50 yards

plus another short one on the fg

They had an almost two to one edge in time of possession.

Give the trophy to the pack now, its over...

Atlanta kind of ran into a buzzsaw tonight. The problem is, how do you move forward for Atlanta? They need a compliment to White. Nelson and Jones ate them up tonight. Those are the 3 and 4 guys. But more importantly, they need help on defense. They are close, but don't quite have enough horses. Their best defensive guy would be the third best on the Packers. If they can add some studs to this core group they are going to be around for a while.

Couldn't agree more...I think Lovie just crapped a Packer brick!btw, I love the Big Black avatar!

How is 31/36 for 366 and 3 TDs not a perfect passer rating?
He actually only maxed out in 2 of the 4 categories ... completion% and interception%. His TD to attempt ratio is too low and his yards to attempt ratio is too low. Too get perfect he needed the yardage he got with only 29 attempts, and he needed his TDs to be only 25 attempts. His rating was an astonishing 136.8 though

That's very interesting, I've always been way to lazy to look things like that up. Performance seemed perfect enough to me though.

GB beat their own record in this game. Last year in AZ, they scored 45 pts -- which was the record for a road team in a playoff game. They eclipsed that in this game. Also, I believe there are only 3 other times that a road team has won by more than 27.

Impressive to say the least.

largest winning margin over a number 1 seed in the playoffs, ever.
