No I think he was just an assistant DC with Baltimore and Jim knew how good of a coach he was so they offered him a massive contract to be the Michigan DC. He had an amazing year and John decided to move on from Wink so he brought back MacDonald.

Congrats Ravens fans. Happy for Lamar. Texans definitely did not go quietly, but the #1 defense in the NFL certainly played like it today.
