Two delay of game penalties, TO for substitutions... what's going on with SD's personnel management?

I'm no so sure they really need that last TO. Ben caught them in a substitution, but the Steelers weren't really ready to run a play either.

Tough to call that one. The ball moved when it hit the ground, but he appeared to have possession, so as long as he maintained possession even when the ball hit the ground, it should be a catch.

I like Vincent Jackson. The other day Colin Cowher was comparing Jackson to Terrell Owens.

Owens gets 8 million a year, Jackson gets 800,000.

Jackson had better numbers all year round.

Jackson has better numbers in big games.

Jackson is ten years younger.

Jackson is not a great guy (DUI charge, but he doesn't cause a stink in the locker room.)

That's on Tomlin. Anyhow, you only gi ve up the field position if it doesn't work. It didn't work, so it looks bad. But I like the idea.

I don't think I've ever seen a fake punt snap to the up back work in the NFL, ever. Doesn't mean it's never happened, but I've never seen it that I can remember. If you watch any punt play, that guy gets swarmed every time.
