Does anybody else consider themselves terrible drafters? (1 Viewer)

Lemme preface this with the fact that i've been at this for 15 years have had very good success i.e playoffs and winning leagues.

One thing that seems to kill me is that i'm a TERRIBLE drafter. I research, study, join FBG's more than anyone. And yet every year my drafted team pretty much stinks. To the point that when i tell people my roster (who arent in my league) i always get asked "how many teams are in your league?" Ha. Granted i've won a bunch of times but its always do to a key FA pickup, some luck etc....My drafted team is never dominant. Very frustrating and no matter what i do to change it i always end up with the same meh team.

The key is admitting it. There's no shame. Try to make some trades before the season to get rid of the suck. The key is recognizing what you thought was a good situation when you drafted and getting out of it before it blows up in your face. Pawn off your trash for other peoples treasure.

I had a bad feeling about drafting Dwayne Bowe. Never felt right for some reason. Maybe it's no faith in Alex Smith. Never liked Bowe, I admit. So I traded him away in a package for Gronk. Now who knows how this turns out, but I feel better already that I "got rid of the suck" before it ended up biting me.

Its week 1 chill....and bowe will be fine. They where ahead most the game.
