Am I missing something here? I can definitely understand drafting one of the Indy TE's in a 1.5 PPR league, but is there a reason why Santi would be taken ahead of Jacob Tamme??

That backup in Arkansas put up over a 1000 yards in the SEC.

Two years in a row. Against the same SEC that Smith averaged 3.4 YPC against.It took Smith approx 600 more carries to put up only approx 1700 more yards.

Agreed, college stats is the best way to determine if a player will have success in the NFL...

He essentially did trade good guys (Holt, Gore, B Jacobs, Dallas Clark) for younger, upside guys (like Jennings) and picks. He drafted an old team at startup last year, which somewhat imploded on him (Marvin, SA, Lamont Jordan, etc), so he's doing a complete rebuild. Kinda smart really - he could have held onto guys and his 1.4 and been "middle of the pack", but he opted to burn it down instead. He's got a real young team now, and if they take a year to develop, well, he'll add a high pick next year.

Why are ppl drafting ray rice so early? Yes, he has a lot of talent but he won't see much playing time for a couple of seasons.

While I don't necessarily agree with it, from what I've seen so far, it's been Forte. In fact, sometimes Forte even knocks out Mendenhall for the #3 spot, depending on how badly teams need an immediate starter.

Maybe not.Though I would have prefered to grab him at my original 2.07 I had, but had to pull it early when the Jacob owner made a move up. Of course, that allowed me to trade that 2.07, grabbing a 2nd in 2009 and those last two "what the hell, take a chance" RB's.

And for what it's worth, Kevin Smith killed Felix in college.

That backup in Arkansas put up over a 1000 yards in the SEC.

Two years in a row. Against the same SEC that Smith averaged 3.4 YPC against.It took Smith approx 600 more carries to put up only approx 1700 more yards.

Agreed, college stats is the best way to determine if a player will have success in the NFL...

Actually it's whether or not the player was drafted by the Lions...
