For fun:The 2023 Draft is strong at the RB position, with players like Bijan Robinson, Jahmyr Gibbs, Zachary Evans, Sean Tucker, Zach Charbonnet, and Tank Bigsby, top potential at QB with Bryce Young and CJ Stroud, and an exciting first-round prospect at TE in Notre Dame's Michael Mayer. The WR class really hasn't really exhibited great depth yet, but Kayshon Boutte and Jaxon Smith-Njigba may be elite prospects.I've read plenty about how the 2023 draft class is going to be much better than the 2022 class - as someone who doesn't follow college in any great depth, can someone build on why and how? Are there a bunch of can't miss prospects? Is the number of players that people see as having fantasy relevance especially deep? Is it somewhere in between?
I guess I'm just trying to get an idea of distribution of where the strength is - let's say that there is a theoretical combined 22/23 rookie draft in 13 month's time once we know everyone's destination, but obviously we don't have knowledge of the 22 rookie pro season results. In the first round, we take Hall and how many others from 22? In the second/third?
EDIT TO ADD: A year can change things in a big way, but in terms of depth, the 2023 class has a chance to be special. If I were drafting a combined 2022/2023 class today, Hall, Walker, Wilson, London, Jameson and Burks would still probably be in the first round (non Superflex), but the RB strength of the 2023 class would push several the 2022 receivers down lower in the first round.

I like Kuntz. It's a long term play so you need the size to be able to hold him for awhile but his profile is nuts. He's Darnell Washington but more athletic which is crazy to say.
What is he, 6'8" 245? I suppose there is a reason all teams passed on him earlier, but yes, his athletic profile is off the charts. Why didn't Penn St. use him? Why aren't his overall stats better? His 2021 stats were respectable at Old Dominion, but even in just 5 games in 2022 he only caught 12 passes. I would have thought in 5 years of college he would have been more productive (85/836/7).I like Kuntz. Yeah he’s an absolute project and is likely a total zero. I am talking about taking him 5th round of a rookie draft. Last pick kind of guy. What is he, 6'8" 245? .....thus the reason why he wasn't taken until the 7th round. Also he got hurt last year which is partly why his totals were so low. The year prior he caught 73 balls which is a crazy high number. Not sure why he didn’t get used at PSU. I assume he was very raw.
Absolutely. If you have some other gem I can take with pick 55 in a rookie draft, I’m happy to entertain it! We are dumpster diving at that point......thus the reason why he wasn't taken until the 7th round. Also he got hurt last year which is partly why his totals were so low. Trey Palmer is probably a better dart throw.Absolutely. If you have some other gem I can take with pick 55 in a rookie draft, I’m happy to entertain it! I suppose that is good for IDP leagues, but not much for most of us, with the exception of Josh Downs
Yeah I would say he’s another end of draft guy I would take . You lose out on all the good jokes though.Trey Palmer is probably a better dart throw.Absolutely. 1/2 in SF leagues and 1/5 - 1/7 in start 1qb leagues?
