Circling week 7 after the bye at home against Cleveland. That's when he gets unleashed.This.At the very least wait until he is on an even carry count with Mason.I consider this week a victory. He came in, ran hard, took a couple hits, made some cuts and has no ill effects. I imagine the workload increases from here at a slow pace. I'm waiting until the breakout to start him. I'm ok missing out on his first great week of production if it keeps me from losing every week I start him and it doesn't happen.
Im in a similar situation. Got Demarco, Alf, D.Johnson......I need DJ and Gurley to be more involved. Im impatient! My RBs are made up of Carlos Hyde, Joique Bell, Christine Michael, Knile Davis, Tre Mason, and Big Toddy.
I have no choice but to put him in. I only need to start two of these guys, so whatever, but I need his role to pick up quickly.
Was there something interesting in there? I tapped out after two minutes.georg013 said:I am really going to enjoy watching this young man ascend to the bell cow role. Here is a short interview where he talks about his first week. Enjoy Gurley owners. You deserve it!

How so? Pead has been a non-factor for Gurley all along no?Good sign for Gurley.9/30: Rams cut RB Isaiah Pead.
Good for you. We are all pulling for your team and specific circumstance, and applaud your exceptional foresight.I drafted him for 2016 on. If I can get some positive action in '15 it is just a bonus.

Yes. He promised owners a BIG game this week.Uncle Grandpa said:Was there something interesting in there? Pead obviously wasn't a threat to Gurley, but it could mean that the team doesn't feel as much of a need to carry RB depth as Gurley gets healthier. It could mean nothing at all as well though of course. How so? Pead has been a non-factor for Gurley all along no?Good sign for Gurley.9/30: Rams cut RB Isaiah Pead.
I have absolutely no idea what to think will happen here this week. I think Gurley should get upwards of 15 or so touches given how badly the offense needs him but whether Fisher will give him that type of role is the question.Tom Pelissero

Fisher on Todd Gurley continued: "I think he played 14 snaps. I would expect him to play a lot more this week."
It depends largely on the options you have, but yeah this isn't looking like a great matchup. I'll probably start him in 1 of 3 leagues. On the road against Arizona, probably getting around 10-12 carries, I wouldn´t start him....yet.
Right on, it's all about the options. Typically with any unproven player or player returning from injury I like to take the approach of making them earn their way into my lineup, meaning I need to see something first. It depends largely on the options you have, but yeah this isn't looking like a great matchup.
