How far away is a trade of AJ Brown for CeeDee Lamb (include upcharge as owner is a Cowboys fan).

I've considered sending my AJ Brown + 1.05 for Lamb. Is that a lot? This season, as a Cowboys fan, points to volume coming to CeeDee.
IMO, CeeDee is one of the top dynasty assets. I don’t think AJ and the 1.05 is close. You’re short at least another first, maybe more.
Lamb trade in my league a few weeks ago was

  • Outlaws gave up Year 2025 Draft Pick 1.08; Year 2026 Round 1 Draft Pick from Outlaws; Year 2026 Round 2 Draft Pick from Outlaws; Year 2026 Round 2 Draft Pick from Slickwillies
  • Black Knights gave up Lamb, CeeDee DAL WR
2x 1sts & 2x 2nds would not get Lamb from me in the league I have him.

Yeah, Breece could blow up if traded for sure. That's the risk you run, I guess.
And if I don’t win another ‘ship, oof. Maybe I should start selling piece for picks now. 😬

Yikes. ‘Ships are tough. You can have the best and get clubbed on a bad week. Tough standards, but I take what you say about aging. That’s the nature of the beast, huh?
Yeah - I think I’m still on the “give it one more push” this year & decide where I am at the deadline.

If only because I’m petty enough that I don’t want the 2026 1st I dealt to be a good pick. ;)

Just got offered Olave and Njoku for 1.10 and 3.01. Trying to three peat in this league. TE1 right now is Engram. What do you guys think about this offer? I like Olave, don’t love him, the QB situation worries me. But the way I look at his offer, it’s basicslly Olave for the 1.10 and Njoku for 3.1.

Full PPR, 1.5 TE Premium btw. Olave would probably slot in as like my WR5 or WR6.

In a vacuum it seems fair. I’m just not particularly high on Olave and Njoku and would trust my drafting ability and ability to maneuver around the board to get rookies who can help you right away AND hold more long-term value than Olave and Njoku.

1.10 - any chance Warren or Loveland are available here? I don’t know how TE hungry your league is. RJ Harvey or Kaleb Johnson could also be on the table (especially if the TEs go in the top 9). I’d rather have all those assets than Olave personally. Bad QB situation, concussions…his value could recover but it could also crater quickly.

Njoku - he’s been a top 7-8 TE the past few years but between the unsettled QB room and the drafting of Fannin I’m not high on him for 2025 and he likely needs a new team/situation to prevent a bunch of this new crop of TEs from surpassing him. 3.01 is the range where some of the 2nd tier of TEs is going - Mason Taylor, Terrance Ferguson, Elijah Arroyo, and the aforementioned Fannin.

Assuming the rest of your team is strong already I would be tempted to hold the picks and draft some young talent to keep your championship window open longer. Evan Engram is a fine TE1.

Value wise it seems like a bargain.

The only concern I’d have is what your team needs are. It sounds like you don’t need either player.

You’re likely to get a decent RB at 1.10, so I guess it depends on whether you need a RB.

How many WRs do you need to start? And what do your RBs look like? I can see going Harvey or Kaleb Johnson over Olave.
Or Loveland or Warren if there.

Start 11 total, 2QB league. Only have to start 2 of each at RB and WR.

RB room: Bijan, Gibbs, Jacobs, Walker, Charbs are the notables

WR: Puka, Nico, Tee, Adams, Aiyuk, DK, Jennings are the notables

I wouldn't call it a "bargain". In startup ADP 10 rookies are going before Olave.
I was speaking to the whole package though - TE-P makes Njoku somewhat valuable, no? Certainly more than a 3rd.

Yes. For now. I think there’s a whole thread that could be written about keeping the championship window open as long as possible by never falling into the trap of going “all in.” Adam Harstad has written extensively about how unlikely it is any “win now” trade is going to be the reason you win, and it very well could be the reason you lose.

The more I play dynasty the more I shy away from aging players (Njoku fits this description, not Olave) and those who have poor situations and need the stars to align to see their value rise or hold steady instead of continuing to slide (I think both Njoku and Olave may fall into this category).

@JoeJoe88 says Olave would be his WR5-6 and Njoku would be depth or a matchups play with Njoku… personally I’m not trading the picks unless we get someone who upgrades my lineup because the rookies will have far more value insulation and can be more easily flipped to fill a need if/when one arises.

Lots of ways to play this game though.

Sounds like a deal you don’t have to make. Seems like getting younger with the 1.10 helps your roster more. And maybe one of the TEs slides to you. Unlikely, but possible.

Yep, if you look at my next response you’ll see I said something similar above.

I don't see a reason to make that move then. If you want Njoku just go get him by himself.

It would be a ok move value wise, but I'm thinking the guys that will be there at 10 might have a better chance of being something that Olave does of not getting a career ending concussion.

Tough call

You don't need Olave and personally, I like Engram better than Njoku. In my three rookie drafts at least 1 of the two top TEs fell to 1.10. And you could definitely get a TE from the next tier at 3.1.

My take as well, depends on team needs and sounds like he doesn't really need Olave or Njoku. I'd rather have both over the picks in a vacuum but its close enough that the picks offer more flexibility in addressing actual roster needs. Although Engram as my TE1 is a not position I would be even slightly comfortable with. Might be looking to move up a few spots to see if I could get Warren or Loveland or acquire another TE somehow.

I do think one of Loveland or Warren will be there at 1.10, and that will very likely be my pick.

I also have the 2.3.

I would probably go ARSB but this could easily be wrong in a couple of years. As an ARSB owner in SF, if I was offered this while the other guy was on the clock I'd need to both have a big QB need and have one of Judkins or Egbuka available to pick to even start thinking about it

This potential deal would likely help me to complete better this year, but also gets me 5 years older at RB. I worry that it’s a sell-low on Breece since he’s likely done with the Jets, if not this year then next.

This is only my opinion, but if he takes Al-Shaair and Hall then I'd probably do that deal if you're in contention. This comes with all the usual caveats and uncertainty and also is a window into how I've always coveted Barkley in my two leagues, but I'd do that deal if I was getting Barkley.
That’s the idea - offer Hall+Al-Shaair for Barkley.

I believe I’d be in contention, yes. And if not, probably easy to flip Barkley at the deadline for future 1sts.

But I’ve got a bit of FOMO on Hall’s future value that may or may not manifest. I keep seeing trade rumors, and he’s a FA after this year IIRC.

But Barkley >> Hall this year, for sure.

Yeah, Breece could blow up if traded for sure. That's the risk you run, I guess.
Well, he put it up. I’m likely going to reject it. He keeps negging Hall - ok, so why do you want him so badly then? Just altruistic like that?

I love Saquan, and won’t hesitate to pull the trigger in redraft, but I think I’m gonna hold Hall. If he goes to the Cowboys or literally any better situation imma kick myself for moving him. I just don’t like getting 5 years older with an already aging roster.

It’s super tempting though.

@Dez @Gally any opinions on this? My team is an aging contender. I don’t believe swapping Saquan for Hall instantly makes me the league favorite. Probably improves my chances 5-10%, but gets me a lot older.

See OP last page for full details of league/scoring/format/team status. (Hall+Azeez Al-Shaair for Saquan)

Maybe I’m missing something here and I’m crazy to not get Saquan. 🤔

Leaning no but it’s nagging at me.

It's 1QB/PPR... I have been searching for a QB, as I have Kyler and Bryce Young.

Not a great trade but was happy to turn my 3rd into a 2nd and get rid of Tank Dell in the process.
Oh ok. Yeah 1 QB changes the equation. No spit take - you paid a decent price though. I don’t think it’s bad. QBs still matter.

Jeudy was behind AJ Brown, Jamar Chase, JSN, Nabers and BTJ and I like having 3 picks in the top 20 for some RB darts.

Debating on 1.05 + to move into 1.01 for Jeanty.

I typically look at 2 yr windows because things change fast. For the next two years I much rather have Barkley

thoughts on Likely TE+?
In terms of ballpark value he was cut in 21 FFPC TEP 1 QB leagues and was drafted in the rookie/FA draft after 19 rookies which would ballpark him as 2.8, and ahead of every rookie TE except Warren and Loveland.

It looks like Andrews is most likely to return but thats still not a given. I think Garafalo(sp?) on NFLN was saying a few days ago he thinks what I've been saying for awhile that something has to give in terms of extending Andrews or Likely and what that might lead to for the TE they don't extend, with most assuming that LIkely is the TE they prefer to extend. So small chance Andrews ends up somewhere else but right now I'm planning on 2026.

I wish I could recall where I heard it, I think it was someone on NFLN, but thought it was interesting that they said Likely was banged up a lot last year with some injury he suffered early in the year. This was news to me. But good news if this is true because it suggests more of a role if he's healthy regardless if Andrews is back or not, and checks with what a Ravens beat writer I follow has said recently, that Likely's role should be trending up even with Andrews returning.

So long story short my thoughts is he's probably a TE2 with Andrews around, but in event of Andrews injury or departure I think he steps right into a mid TE1 fantasy role.

I will take the Outlaw side on this. Two firsts and two seconds are not bad if you want to rebuild completely, but I'm not sure the 2026 class will do that. 2025 1.8 helps.

I think it is fair, but I would want a proven younger player added to that haul to make me want to give up Lamb.

thoughts on Likely TE+?

Dynasty with contracts
I traded the 2.11, 3.7, and 2026 2nd for Likely. It took about two weeks to complete that trade. Dynasty 1QB PPR start 10. The trade was completed in mid-April.

I only had Kittle and Mayer as my tight ends. My thinking was more for 2026 than 2025 and still is. I think it is likely that Likely (see what I did there) gets extended or gets an opportunity somewhere to become a tight end one and I feel he will be a good one with a high ceiling. I also feel like I overpaid a little but not by enough to not have buyer's remorse.

I acutally like what you did. Did you overpay given the current market, maybe a little, but I think he's a future top 5 TE in the not so distant future.

Price check on aisle Q please

Bryce Young, Carolina
SF, 12 teams.

I’m wiling admit I might value him more than others. IMO he’s in the QB 15-20 range. Slightly more valuable than Cam Ward, on par with Dak, Penix, purdy, and McCarthy. Which, imo makes him worth the 1.02 or 1.03. Others in my league have said I’m crazy to value him higher than a late first. I’m not really looking to sell but I figured if I got decent value it could be worthwhile. (He’s my 3 behind Caleb and Nix, as I’m looking to repeat).
