Just received an offer of 1.7 and 2.10 for kupp in a 10 team dyno. Feels like a fair offer but I’m definitely in win now mode which makes me hesitant. I understand your hesitancy on this one. I’m in a win now mode in a 1QB dynasty league and have Kupp. It’s hard to let him go simply because of the numbers he’s put up in the last two years. If he’s on the field, he’s a massive contributor to helping your dynasty team win on a week to week basis. I also have Jefferson/Amari Cooper/Gabe Davis/Chark/Hodgins and a bunch of other good depth. It’s been a killer combo putting Jefferson and Kupp together as your WR1 and 2 last season and one before.

He’s worth considerably more than the 1.07 imo. He’s 29, but for his style of play, he can still have 3 more stud seasons with 2 more WR2/3 seasons after that.

People seem to be missing just how dominant he’s been - I just don’t see any player at 1.07 being close. Let’s put some names to that 1.07 and then compare him to what has been the most valuable WR in the league the last 3 seasons.

Completely agree with this. I would not sell Kupp for 1.07 (Don't own him anywhere) and I would 100% pay 1.07 and 2.10 for him. I offered more earlier this offseason and was declined with no counter.

Do you guys feel Ridley or Jameson Williams added to that offer would be enough to move him? I’m at best looking at rb4 wr2 at seven. Most likely would end up being my choice between rb5 and wr3 available at seven. I also agree 100% with at the notion kupp will be a top wr for at least two more years. And serviceable some time after.

I’d give my Kupp for Jameson and the 7 easily.

1.04/1.5 and 1.07 is surely in the ballpark for Kupp at the very least.

Still hilarious how everyone on here talks about how valuable Tee Higgins is, but in both leagues I have made him available the best offer I can get is a 2024 projected late 1st. I offered him to several teams for a mid-late 1st this year and a 2024 1st and was laughed off of the negotiations table.

If the trade route, I’d wait until you’re on the clock and offer the pick up for a RB. You’re best value will be when someone sees a player on the board like

That’s a super tough call in a 1-QB league.

I had him in both of my dynasty leagues.
League 1, 12 team SF, start 10, PPR, no D/ST, no K. I dealt Pittman + Fuller for ETN. This was before ETN came back to practice, so I believe I’ve profited there.

League 2, 16 team SF, IDP, PPR, TE-P. Dealt Pittman for Kwitty Paye, Mooney, and a 2023 5.06 - jury’s out until Mooney comes back

In your format, if you need a RB or TE, or if you could package Pittman with a player to get a tier higher at WR, that’s the direction I’d pursue.

As someone who has him in three leagues, what would it take for you to consider trading him? As a Bears fan, I think he will be great if he gets the lead job alongside a rookie or FA.

Agreed...if you own him you want to ride this out because he could end up being really valuable...but on the flipside he could lose a ton of value if they add something legit so I can't see making a legit offer for him...right now he is stuck in neutral until the smoke clears.

What is the definition of a starting RB for you? He was exactly that when given the opportunity in the past 2 seasons.

As far as getting another RB, of course they will, they have to at this point. The depth gets thin if he goes down.

Herbert would be the main guy you'd have thought, regardless of who that rookie is. (unless they do something incredibly stupid like draft Robinson)

I don't believe Herbert is good enough to be the starter. Sure, he came in and gave some good minutes this season, but he wasn't effective at pass blocking nor at catching the ball out of the backfield. I suspect a 3rd or 4th rounder will be used on a guy like Charbonnet or someone in that tier of good, likely not great all-around backs.

What is the definition of a starting RB for you? He was exactly that when given the opportunity in the past 2 seasons.

As far as getting another RB, of course they will, they have to at this point. The depth gets thin if he goes down.

He lacks the ability to run inside. Most of his productive running was toward the outer edge. His receiving skills leave a lot to be desired. His pass blocking was bad. Really bad.

There's a reason he never supplanted Monty.

Edit to answer your question: A good starting RB need to be able to PASS block, catch balls out of the backfield and be able to produce yardage both inside and out.

Watch the tape. His go to is to bounce runs outside (even when there is something of a seam), which is great for a change of pace back. I expect that will get swallowed up if it's a trend while he's a starter. It appears Poles is planning to feature Herbert in '23. I just don't think he has the ability to post starting RB numbers consistently over the course of the season.
