Dynasty Value of the New Studs- Post trade offers, accepted or rejecte (1 Viewer)

Very few predicted that these players would have the early success they have had this year. I always find it challenging to place value on these types of breakout players. It is not as tough in redraft where it is all about what a player is doing right now, but in dynasty leagues, you have to consider if they can keep it up.

Is Vick now equal in value to Rivers?

Is Collie worth more than Colston or Calvin?

Is Foster a top 5 dynasty back?

Is Hernandez the next Finley, or even better?

Share your thoughts, and to really show value, post any completed trades in your dynasty leagues. Also, post any deals that you might know of that were rejected for these guys.

Foster was Just traded in my league for Bradshaw and P.Thomas. (I personally think thats giving up a little too much)

I own Vick and would have a hard time trading him. A Healthy Vick could almost carry a team. I'd consider an offer for him that included Rivers, and I tend to like Rivers more than most.

I just made an offer for Hernandez, a second and third rd pick. I'd offer more, but the guy who owns him has two good TEs in front of him. I would go as high as a low end round 1 pick, But I tend to think my pick will be in the 1.05-1.09 range.

I cant speak for Collie, but his price tag is WAY to high right now. It wouldn't shock me if Garcon came back and ate up the majority of Collie's stats. Too much rish involved right now.

A couple of offers that were rejected.

Colston for Hernandez (1.5 ppr for TE)

Sjax/2nd for Hillis/1st

Each of these were rejected by the owner of the new guys- Hillis and Hernandez.

As an owner of both Hernandez and Hillis, I'd probably reject those two as well, even in my TE-optional leagues. In both cases, Colston and SJax have uncertainty. SJax is such a special talent, but simply cannot stay healthy - which is a shame because with Bradford's development he could have gotten back to his top 3 ways. In both cases, I'd probably have the other guys "ranked" higher - but it would be hard pulling the trigger just because of the upside and how they're playing now, and it's not like you're getting long term certainty back.

I gave: A. Foster, M. Manningham

I got. A. Johnson

I got an offer of Ochocinco for Foster. :hifive:

I was rejected by the Calvin Johson owner, when I offer Foster straight accross.

i'm sure that Garcon will get some of the targets but don't think the majority part will happen....Manning has built trust with Collie

I am a Peyton Hillis owner in a keeper league and received the following offers:

#1- Peyton Hillis, Larry Fitzgerald for Michael Turner

#2- Peyton Hillis, Larry Fitzgerald, Santonio Holmes for MJD

The problem with Collie's value is that perception equals reality. Over the last two years we have seen Gonzo's value skyrocket and then drop, Garcon's value skyrocket and drop, now Collie's value is skyrocketing and some owners (like myself) aren't sold that he is here to stay. Heck even Blair white is now on the fantasy radar. Whos to say he wont overtake Collie in the future?Personally, I see Garcon as the most gifted of the bunch. Right now teams need to gameplan around Dallas Clark and Wayne in the passing game, leaving the #2-#3 WRs in beatable matchups. If Wayne moves on, I have a much easier time seeing Garcon take over the #1 role and run with it. Thats something I dont think Collie could do.
