Going into the Monday night game, Edge ranks 5th among RBs using FBG standard scoring, perhaps a bit skewed due to the bye week for some, but still easily top 10 numbers.

However, for those of us in PPR leagues, he has not been catching a lot of balls.

Now that Warner is taking over for Leinart, should we expect Edge's reception total to increase with a more aware QB in the pocket who knows when to dump off the ball to his RB, or is Whisenhunt's system going to continue to limit the number of passes going to James.

I think this will be a plus for edge. Teams will need to respect Fitz and Boldin even more now. Open up some more running lanes. Cards will still give him the ball 20+ times a game. The run Ds get easier for a while now.

I doubt this move will increase his rec total much. If anything Warner will be throwing downfield more IMO.

But I am excited as an Edge owner for these upcoming games with Warner leading the team

I think you can bump up his receptions a tad. Warner used faulk back in the day and Manning used edge. I think it is possible for some good chemistry to develope
