Meh. Not all that excited about this group to be honest. Knew I got some steals last year with Benteke, Sterling, zaha and Sygurdson but I'm not seeing the upside this time around.  It might get ugly in a hurry if Gray gets sold and/or Rashford doesn't start.

I had it between Xhaka and him for this last pick.  Since I already had Mirallas and with decent chance of Gylfi going there too, I opted for another team.

If you need 3 pts to win a game, he's going to get you 3 pts.

If you need 6 pts to win a game, he's going to get you 3 pts.

Big fan, though.

Granit Xhaka beats Idrissa Gueye 26-17 in Scrabble scoring.  The 8 point X puts him over the top.

Yeah, I just wanted some quality depth...  plus if Gylfi ends up going then I'll probably end up dropping him.

Unfortunately, the best rumors I hear from Spurs - their next (first) signing will be a 3rd string keeper from Soton - Bazinga, or something like that, with a surprise announcement for Monday - no ideas on who it may be  :kicksrock:

Last I heard from Liverpool, besides Lallana being dead, was that Moreno may be headed to Watford. :shrug:  

 
To those of you that got delayed likes from me, you earned them. I thought that I'd done a good job of keeping up with the thread during the middle part of last week.

Well, I.Was.Wrong. Thanks to @Sinn Fein for keeping the spreadsheet updated so I could not make a bigger fool of myself this weekend.

In honor of @FreeBaGeL, I give myself a  :ptts:  because I went  :missing:  to clean up some going-out-the-door affairs for my previous employer.

All of you guys are awesome  :pickle:  and thanks also to @Kafka, @Ramsay Hunt Experience, @Rooney10 and any other bastards that contributed to the effort for this season.

Cut Alex Sandro (Kenedy on Fanthrax) to make room for waiver wire pickup this week.

Apparently half my team is hurt now and it's not even the start of the ####### season. PRE-SEASON FRIENDLIES YAY

 
reminder - waivers will run tomorrow night 9:00 pm ET - they look scheduled to run automatically.  I have a school open house to attend - but should be home by then, but for the first week, I could see the waiver system being a little delayed.  I'll try to run them manually if they don't run within a reasonable time after 9:00.

Waiver order is the reverse order of the draft - make a pick, go to the back of the line.  Rinse, repeat.

 
If anyone wants to buy Coutinho at a discount while stuff in limbo, send an offer. Likely cost of your 5th-6th round guy, but open to any offer.
