I put in 17/100 for Joshua Kelley, 18/100 for Kyren Williams, and 12/100 for Justice Hill. 16-team standard league w/ double flex (WR/TE and WR/RB/TE).

... I may have drastically underestimated how people view RBs in my league :shock:

Kyren went to me for $51 in a 12 team first year doing FAAB. Next closest bud was $6 and $0.

In another league (1 team), I got Puka for $51 ($25, $20, $15) and Kyren for $31 ($20 and $13 the next closest bids).

It’s my first time doing FAAB and my initial bids were for $31 for Puka and Kyren I believe in both leagues.

63 on kyren williams (won) - next bid was 40
23 on jushua kelley (won) next bid was 10
20 on Puka (won) next big was 13
 
i think the values really depend on the situation

I have Kupp/Jefferson at wr

but only
Dobbins/Javonte at rb (with Pierce)

So i was desperate for rb so i went kyren and kelley big FAAB. I now those two with Elijah Mitchell and Achane, Penney and Tucker

Not a powerhouse by any stretch but waiting for the injury to make most of them relevant

Puka $53-54 in 4 leagues(2nd highest were $30)
Outbid on Kelly by $1 (bid $17)
 
Playing in my 2nd FAAB league (first time with this group from work) so didn't really know what to expect. ($100 budget)

Nakua went for 19. Other bids were 16, 16, 15 and 5
I got Bourne for 16. Nobody else bid..... :bag:
I got Kelley for 15. Nobody else bid.... :bag:
Gainwell went for 18. Only other bid was 5
Edwards went for 10. Other bids were 5 and 5.
Got Hunter Henry for 5. No other bids :wall:

a few other minor guys went for a couple of bucks. I also bid on Shaheed in the event that I didnt get one of the others.

Annoyed to have "wasted" a bunch of money, but you just dont know in a brand new league with people you've never played before. The Kelley thing absolutely baffled me.

I let him go in redraft leagues, but paid a decent amount for him in deep dynasty leagues that he was available. With 51 man rosters, don’t expect too many guys with flex potential available off waivers rest of year (the others mentioned as waiver targets in this thread all long rostered).

Surprised I got Puka for 18 bucks in the first league. And yeah definitely overpaid for RBs in the second oof. Orignally bid $18 for both but upped them since I need RBs as I went 0 RB and my starters and Walker and J Willaims.

Hill and Kyren cleared the waivers and were picked up. I coulda dropped Gibson for them but didn’t. May regret it.

Got ahead of the curve on Jeff Wilson, spent $2 on him prior to the games this past weekend. Just spent $21 on Kelley, next bid was $12. My lineup is loaded with potential league winners that would require injuries ahead of them (Roschon, Warren, Spears), so wanted to make sure I got Kelley because he may have some flex worthy stand alone appeal.
 
Context - 16-team dynasty auction with contracts. The big key is we have a roster limit of 3-RBs, so unless you've got some ****ter to throw away you aren't bidding on a dart throw RB. WRs are king, we can start as many as 4. Puka was the only one I was bidding on personally.

Puka - 95/200 winning bid (dropped Peoples-Jones). Losing bids at 57 and 9.
Gainwell - 31 (dropped Deon Jackson)
Kyren Williams - 25/200 winner (Dobbins owner), losers of 21 and 20.
Mayfield - 3 (Rodgers owner)
 
In my dynasty league, I'm holding back, waiting to see who gets dropped. I really dont need anything, I kept Nacua at the cutdown day, hoping someone gives up on a TE that pooped the bed last week.

I can see how that could be traumatizing for you, I too shudder when I see the name Rex Burkhead. If only we could click on the last page, T&P's.

On a serious note, I actually like being able to see how things panned out last year.

Im surprised Kelley only went for $7 seeing as Eckler will mis multiple weeks

Not player related, but in my first year of FAAB last year, offers were also very low throughout the year and I wound up overbidding at times. Every league is obviously different, but to avoid overbidding, keep in mind that most owners tend to be conservative with new rules.

Given this setup the waiver wire is more barren then you would find in a redraft league.

Waivers processed Wednesday night at 9 pm ET.

$101 - Joshua Kelley - Losing bids were $55, $51, $49, $37, $20; Interesting enough neither the Ekler owner nor the co-owners who drafted him at 1.11 in the 2020 rookie draft placed a bid.
$51 - Justice Hall - Losing bid of $20
$6 - Allen Robinson - Only bid
$0 - Zach Wilson - Only bid - (bids of $0 allowed so essentially a free agent pickup at exact time of waivers)

Most notable players unclaimed
Tutu Atwell - picked up as a free agent shortly after waivers were processed
Kendrick Bourne - Free agent still
various defenses that did well in week 1.
