Yes I was the winner of Puka Nacua at $21 and the next bid was $6 so I definitely overbid but feel like $21 was reasonable. I still have $68 in FAAB and based on this week's bids I should be good. Not player related, but in my first year of FAAB last year, offers were also very low throughout the year and I wound up overbidding at times. Every league is obviously different, but to avoid overbidding, keep in mind that most owners tend to be conservative with new rules. This is our first year and first week of FAAB so we're still getting the hang of it. Offers were very low.
Kyren probably has the most potential longer term. Hill may be in RBBC purgatory, whether it's Gus alone, or adding Gordon and Mitchell to the fold. Moss might be a decent play for a week or two, but how much is he going to get with Richardson back there.out of 100, in my 12 team where I lost JK and wanted RB help
Kyren 22
Justice Hill 11
Zack Moss, free after waivers ran
I feel these are all at least RB3s right?
Where did you hear this? He missed yesterday for a funeral but I haven't seen anything about him being ruled out for this week, let alone multiple weeks.Im surprised Kelley only went for $7 seeing as Eckler will mis multiple weeks10-team auction Superflex PPR, 4 keepers per team. $100 FAAB budget.
Kyren $28 (me)
Allgeier $26 (me)
Mostert $16
Kelley $7
Z. Jones $6
R. Woods $6
Shaheed $4
Puka, Gainwell and R. Rice were drafted.
I have Kupp but decent depth at WR. Was more concerned about having to play my RB2 K. Herbert and/or my RB3 Pacheco every week.
I have always believed in being aggressive on FAAB in Week 1 if you think someone will make a difference.
The guy who got Zay Jones cut Toney in order to pick him up.
09/13 09:23 PM (WED) | Justice Hill, RB (BAL) | $953.00 |
The upside is in questions but I think anytime you lose a starting RB and can pick up what may very well be 3 RB's who will lead their team in fantasy points for the ROS for 33% of your fantasy budget you did good work.out of 100, in my 12 team where I lost JK and wanted RB help
Kyren 22
Justice Hill 11

Makes me feel better about my $11 in my rinky dink league...FFPC Dynasty BB
09/13 09:23 PM (WED) Justice Hill, RB (BAL) $953.00
He was Dobbins owner, and I think Hill is an excellent pickup, but Yowser thats a lot!
I keep a spreadsheet of every FAAB offer throughout the year. Doesn't help you much the first year of FAAB, but it gives you an idea of how people play things next year. Not player related, but in my first year of FAAB last year, offers were also very low throughout the year and I wound up overbidding at times. wow, tutu for 0 seems crazy.$100 FAAB budget with $0 bids allowed
Jerome Ford $72 ($40 bid was not successful)
Brandon Johnson $10
Tampa Bay Buccaneers Def $3
Brandon Aubrey $2
Kylen Granson $2
Colts Def $2
Logan Thomas $0
Tutu Atwell $0
That's why they call it gambling. Some monstrous bids for Ford abound. In my league, someone got lucky last week getting him for 8% (I lost at 5%) when he was just a mere handcuff.
I think you have to take that big chance on Ford given that potential FA opportunities don’t come around very often. But man, if Ford winds up sharing a lot and/or just isn’t that good, that’s going to be a killer for future FAAB opportunities.
Agreed - and this is one of the biggest gambles we’ve probably had across most leagues in some time. Not the drips and drabs that usually permeate. That's why they call it gambling. Some monstrous bids for Ford abound. I'm not a saints fan but I have been monitoring Miller as a Kamara owner. At best for now he can become the handcuff with J Williams banged up now. But he is coming off of injury himself. Kamara is presumably 100% healthy and ready to go week 4. I don't think Miller will be stepping over Kamara. It would take an injury.I put in 72% of my FAAB (all remaining dollars after my post-week 1 adds) and someone bid 98% of FAAB on Jerome Ford.
These are the situations you hold money for - there are 2 types of people, those that spend the money after week 1 and those that hold for a major injury. Sadly, sometimes... I wish I could be both.
I went in and grabbed Kendre Miller for free after waivers ran... any chance this guy has all the smoke and Kamara takes a backseat? Anyone with boots on the ground at the French Quarter willing to tell me what's being said about Miller?

Similar discussion - how much should Akers go for on waivers? In a local 10-team PPR league, a guy dropped Swift last Thurs morn to bid big on Kyren.
Is Swift worth roughly 70%…similar to Ford?
So Palmer went somewhere between $11 and infinity? ..... a little more specivicity por favor. Most of the hot pickups were drafted/rostered.
Joshua Palmer went to the Mike Williams owner (next highest bid was $10.)
CJ Stroud went for $19 with no other bids. Dude now also holds LJax, Geno, Stafford ($6 last week, no other bids) in a 1-QB league. Guess he’s trying to create positional scarcity lolololol. GLWT
Those charger bids were amazingly low. Interesting .12-team, $100 FAAB: Achane went for $81 (next highest only $33), Quentin for $3 (no other bids), Tank (Dude-you're-getting-a) Dell went for $26 (next highest was me at $22), Palmer went for $3 ($1 next highest).

I can see dropping Atwell eventually but this week is odd timing.....weird.McLaurin, Breida, Dotson and Atwell were dumped overnight. I own Barkley and Mike Williams so aggressively going after Mclaurin.
